That's it, they are closing every street within a 5 km radius of the venue and manwin is across the street. They are expecting over 80,000 people and the city will be gridlock as of 7am as they start closing off major streets around then.

MrCain 07-06-2011 08:18 AM

"Oui! Let's smash le city up!"

80000 people in an area with parking is simply fun... :)

Thx Kenny btw... But that's why we have our company BBQ off-site this Friday. ;)

seeandsee 07-06-2011 09:18 AM

Seriously, that many people care about U2? Biggest sheeple band in history...

Vox 07-06-2011 10:33 AM

It's going to be a total gridlock clusterfuck in the area. Here's the map of the closures.
I'm two blocks away from Manwin and the U2 venue, and some of the neighbor companies have been installing fencing around their property.

Gabriel 07-06-2011 10:49 AM

Well planned, it's going to be a complete mess in the area. Shame no one will be there I wanted to pop in and say hello, another time I guess!

What is the location of the venue because all I can find is where there were streets with no name.

The show is at the hippodrome, the only place in this city that can hold that many people (without collapse).

Tonda you know I would never start a ruckus, :winkwink:

So then... if their building were to burn down, there would be over 80,000 suspects.

:winkwink:

I've seen them 3 times over the years, always puts on a good show. Worth whatever time you spend getting there or back.
