New Artwork in My office. Suggestions?
 

So I just returned from vacation and found that my team replaced my previous artwork with:

I'll be leaving it up for the day, but I can't keep it in my office forever. They actually made it look like a painting & had it printed and all so I don't want to trash it. So suggestions for what I should do with it?

Why take it down?

Its a company that makes its income from people fucking. Anybody that would think it's in bad taste are people you probably do not want to work with anyway.

Tell them you love it so much you want to display it at home. If you don't like it put it in the garage. If you do like it then put it in a work or play room if you have one.

I'd only take it down because it's a big picture of me. It kind of seems like "ego" to me to have any giant photo. I dislike seeing those pics of old white dudes in corporate offices.

Oh no, it's all good. I'm definitely not mad. I love their creativity and the random practical jokes. I actually what touched by the fact that they actually got something printed.

Oh, OK, I get that. If I were visiting I wouldn't think ego, but rather joke. Who knows what other people would think.

There goes my suggestion of replacing it with a portrait of Paul Markham....

Put it in a non-public area of the office with some funny caption off to the side.

This would be great where everybody eats lunch, if there is such a communal place.

I love to enjoy music, but more individual songs & I don't really get "into" the artists or even actors or whomever. I appreciate their songs or movies or whatever, but ultimately they are still strangers who don't know anything about me so I'd rather spend my focus on knowing the people who are around me.

you could one up them....find out the main person behind it, and then outfit their entire desk in pictures of them...mousepad with their pic on it, seat cushion, coffee cup, maybe even the floor pad underneath their chair, wall paper their cubicle or office..etc..etc

Don't forget my husband's crazy playlist full of lots of random stuff.
