Anyone live in Salt Lake City, UT ?
 

How liberal is the city ? i here even though its Mormon headquarters the city is very liberal like Berkly, CA. Mens magazine ranked it as the 17th best city for guys http://www.menshealth.com/health/best-cities-men-2011. How are the people, are they welcoming to non-whites ?

When I was there the only non-white I saw was Carl Malone.

UT is the second most beautiful state in this country, but I could not live there.

The only thing I found out so far is the strip clubs sucks

I was there last week. Only reason to live there is if you like to ski. The girls were surprisingly hot but everyones life mission seems to leave there.

We went to Ruth Chris. I order a martini. Comes out 1/3rd of normal size martini and still charges $15. Place seems like a collection of KKK members to me who bang there daughters. 1/3rd of population missing at least 1 tooth. All the guys look like Richard Dreyfuss in Jaws.

Strip clubs with good looking girls no lap dances and they wear bikini bottoms and pasties. Mormon strippers. We asked a girl if she could work in vegas for 1 day a week instead of 5 days here would you do it. She said no because then she would have to do things. Never met strippers with a conscious before. Was kind of weird to be honest lol. I'm used to Tootsies.

i go to SLC to paraglide sometimes... i dont know that id call SLC liberal, progressive... maybe. its not as backwoods as some places, but still somewhat conservative, all vice is controlled very well. the church is losing its power, but you see them everywhere. everyone i talked to seemed to check if i was religious upon meeting me, probably to decide how to act around me.

the girls are HOT, i am always amazed at how hot they are when i go there.

Progressive is a good word to use...
I have relatives in the area and while Utah isn't the most non-white friendly of states, SLC isn't too bad.
Agreed, strip clubs suck, but the underground and punk clubs are amazing (if you can find them). All the Mormon kids rebelling and letting off steam, so it's INTENSE.

Take a drive south of SLC and visit Bryce canyon (so much better than the overrated Grand Canyon and less tourists), or drive even further south and visit Zion National Park, my favorite location on the planet.

Or hop on the I-15 south and drive to Orem and go up to Provo Canyon.

Well Vegas is like a $125 ticket return these days
