I've used the same header and join page since 2007.

Figured it was time for a change.

I like both of them, wonder if you'll see improved conversions.

I don't know. I've never put much stock in graphics selling memberships.

But I like it! And in my little world, that's good enough for me. :)

Yeah, wasn't referring to the header as much as the join page, but can't really remember what your old join page looked like so don't know how big of a change it was.

I would like to say though...I gave Sarah a few pics, told her I wanted to stress "fake tit whore", and gave her full creative reign to design the header and join page graphic as she saw fit. I was real interested to see what she would come up with on her own. And I think she knocked it out of the ballpark.

As I told you in the beginning...I've always been a one man show and a control freak. So this time I wanted to just let someone else run with the ball.

I handed it to you and gave you pretty much zero direction.

You came up with your own creative vision and did so in a matter of a few days.

talking about the join page...there are a few issues there.....I'd ask Zuzana to fix it if I were you ;)

Zuzana only did the graphics. It's simply a graphic with a join form layered on top. What are you seeing?

Oh, I think I see what you're talking about...I need to stick this in the body tag: background-repeat:repeat-x;background-color:#800203

Oh ok...not really how I would have coded it...same goes with the form layout done with a table....

Issues I've noticed:

• background at the bottom
• suddenly appearing red line next to the doggystyle pic at the bottom
• cut off logo

These problems appeared in IE9 and FF5

just a heads up, but I'd lock down trailers, members everything :winkwink:

I don't protect the trailers at all. Matter of fact, I give the embed code underneath them. I want people to steal those. :)

I remember you saying you changed the header before and really screwed up the conversions. I'm really curios to see how this more modern look will do.

It looks better, no doubts, but the old one had a special feeling that you also got while watching and hearing Claudia Marie. That accent, that decadent glamor a la Marylin Monroe...

Also, I think it needs more 'call to action' buttons, there's only one small "Instant access" on the page, I really looked for it to see the join page and had trouble finding it. Conversions could improve drastically with 2-3 more buttons or writings that go the join page. A 'click here for more' would certainly help.

Anyway, congrats on the change and props to Zuzana's Studio for a slick looking page.

Paysite design is worthless in 2011
It's all about content presentation.
Just my 2 cents...wtf do I know anyway....

I feel that content presentation is definitely 90% of the game. And that's why at the beginning of 2008 we moved to become one of the first "tube style" paysites. :)
I feel real good about my presentation and the videos that we shoot and the fact that the tour is "dynamic" and changes updates as the members area changes.

I figured that it was time for a change in the "look". I like to go with my instincts and so far they have been right on the money (a natural thing for us because I love big tits and know what big tit lovers like to see), and I felt it was time to change up the look of the site.

But everything else on the site is still the result of my experience and ideas developed over my lifetime. The only thing that changed is the background image and the header.

I really, really like what Sarah came up with and my reaction to it has been affirmed by the reaction we have had in emails from our members and comments to CM on her twitter and facebook. So far nothing but positive comments and not even one bad one. :thumbsup

I'm with you in that I don't believe that fancy graphics can sell a crappy paysite...like the old saying says: "You can't polish a turd"...I DO believe that what Zuzana Designs did for me here is a very, very nice finishing touch that adds to the site.

In the end we are entertainers putting on a show for our audience. And we just got new paint and lighting for our stage. :)

What I did wrong the first time I changed the header was I tried to do it myself. lol

And quite frankly I was going to a dry well when it came to ideas for the graphics. In that particular instance I put up a header I had worked on and I just never felt "right" with it, and my instincts were confirmed...so I took it back down.

The opposite has happened with this header from Zuzana Designs. It was "love at first site" when she showed it to me. :)

And yes, I do agree that I need a bit more "join now" text. I think I'm going to try to figure out something for the individual trailer pages for that. I may let this "settle in" for a few days or couple of weeks first though. I've had a lot of success with a "soft sell" without pushing JOIN, JOIN, JOIN at people...but I do believe you're right and I am gonna think about it for a bit and try to get a nice piece of text above or directly below the trailer vids over the next couple of weeks.

Nothing negative here Robbie but I have a few questions. LOL Feel free to tell me to fuck off in that fine southern accent of yours:

1. Only ONE Join button on every page (unless I'm missing something, which is my point) in the upper-left corner? Hmmmm.....hated having to search for that.

2. It looks like you're giving away hours of free video on the tour Robbie, all those previews with their seperate pages. Does this work for you?

3. You're using Scott Zambaio for processing? I thought you used your own merch account.

4. I hope you're A-B testing this new design rather than just letting it roll for a few weeks then judging by joins.

The design looks nice, Zuzana does great work. Just wondering about some of these, um, sales/marketing points. :)

3. I use NATS on the affiiate tour, you were looking at the type-in non-affiliate tour
