Question for other affiliate reps.

Whenever an affiliate sends you an email or a question, do you find that 9 times out of 10 they never mention what their username is for your particular program? :1orglaugh

For instance I just got an email and all it says is: "I'm having troulbe logging in, i dont know whats going on" and thats it...

Most of the time I can find them in the database by searching their email but this happens almost every single time... just thought it was funny lol. :):):):1orglaugh I can't be the only one??

I must be the lucky one. I usually either know who the affiliate is or they give some indication.

Though yes, affiliates, when you need help... tell the rep who you are. :-)

Same here. Never really encountered the problem and most give an indication of who they are. But I'm not really an affiliate manager. I'm biz dev and therefore most of my accounts are ones I've recruited and know who they are.

I had a logo made a long time ago of a Vendzilla, thats part of it, the rude parts were cut off and added to the dancing Banana by Texas Dreams, it will always be in my sig. I miss him. I remember the day he told me if anyone gets me flowers or balloons for my birthday, theres going to be hell to pay, so I got him balloons, tied to a bottle of Jack, he forgave me

It happens pretty often, but less than 90% of the time...

TB Adriana 07-28-2011 04:55 AM

it's been known to happen :)

LongBucksVip 07-28-2011 05:20 AM

Yep, sometimes it happens.
For example, not so long ago I got a message from our external contact form saying something like "Stop spamming me, i hate you, fuckers!!! Delete me from your mailing list pleeeease".
No login, the email was not found in our database.

Sometimes they send "Help me" and never reply back to my emails.

Strange people.

Shey 07-28-2011 06:06 AM

Yup, happens quite a bit. I only mind when the email doesn't match our records so I email them back to tell them and to ask for username. Some never reply which leaves me scratching my head. Or they email again a month later with the same inquiry.

PR_Glen 07-28-2011 06:16 AM

we require blood and urine so as long as we get a dna match...

ajrocks 07-28-2011 06:23 AM

Yup 90% of the time, or they include the username and not what the issue is.
