no. he was disguising his message in a non-partisan trojan horse. what he was saying was that democrats are spending america into ruin. then he went into a tangent on banking & trade, just so his liberal MSNBC bosses dont fire him.

The way I understood it he was calling for the president to take over the powers that have been delegated to congress. That's calling for the end of the devision of power and thus calling for the accumulation of powers into the hands of 1 man: the president. Historically that's what a dictatorship has always entailed.

According to Merriam-Webster:

Democracy ? Government by the people; government in which the supreme power is retained by the people and exercised either directly (Ablsolute, or pure), or indirectly (representative).

Republic ? A state in which the sovereign power resides in a certain body of the people (the electorate), and is exercised by representatives elected by, and responsible to, them.

It becomes easier and easier to pick out the tea party supporters in threads. Bat shit crazy seems to grow in its intensity on a daily basis.

Why? Seriously... You don't want to kick someone out of their job if they're excellent at it just because of some time limit... The real problem is the money that is dumped into politicians campaigns by corporations etc... If that was removed from the equation, campaigns funded by taxpayer money and/or capped individual contributions, then soooooo many of the problems would go away. Politicians would stop campaigning all the time to raise money. Stop doing what big money lobbyists want in order to get campaign contributions.. They would focus more on actually doing their job. Prime example.. What's Obama doing for the next few weeks? On the road to fund raise and campaign for an election over a year away instead of doing his job.

REMOVE ALL LOBBYISTS/BANKERS AND SHOOT THE ONES WHO WONT GO...

They tried that in most EU countries and the result is that politicians do even more shady stuff to hang on to power to get more tax euros.
