Anyone else get a strange AdultCentro email when you're not a member?
 

Got an email from them saying my account was suspended and then a follow up saying it was a mistake... But I'm not any sort of member/client... In fact, the email I received it on is one that I rarely ever use and I don't think it's ever been even used for adult stuff... Very strange as I don't know how they could have even got that email.

I got this earlier. Not quite sure what it was all about. Didn't care much to look into it.

Hi Tempest, if you have received an email that is because you have signed up for an account before, as account signups were free, you might have forgotten :)

We have been rolling out new functionality release on our platform, and all accounts received that email by mistake, even if they were active, so we've rectified the issue.

Absolutely not... When I sign up for accounts I use a unique email address that identifies what it was used for. The email I received was on a general business related email, something I NEVER use for signing up for things.

Yep, I hadn't signed up for it either and got that email..

Well someone created an account with your email :) why would we send a CUSTOMER communication otherwise :)

Did a search to see when I've actually used that email address... To buy FlashFXP (6 months ago), Videocharge (4 years ago), Ioncube (4 years ago) and to signup at xxxcontentdirect (4 years ago), Adult Image Brokers (4 years ago), Adobe (4 years ago)..

So it's not an email I actually use really anymore and when I do it's rarely.... Odd that somehow it ended up being used.

What's even weirder is that the email had my full name...
