Curiousity about spam
 

Hi

I'm in no way going to spam a single mailbox in my life, but after cleaning up my inbox I got a bit curious, maybe someone here knows something about:

- What's the thing with absolutely nonsense subject and content?
- How many freakin' emails do a spammer need to send to get 1 single click?
- Does this shit even work anymore? (ie, are they just evil nobrainers)

Spamming works, they wouldn't do it if it didn't.

Spammers are the scum of the earth. We don't see very much as our mail servers filter most of it out. That which does get through gets reported.

the decline of spam is because it is no longer effecient. even with incredibly low costs per email (mostly zero) there isnt very much money in it anymore.

DUde, spammers don't Move a fucking finger, they just set their spam bots and forget, don't giive a fuck about how many emails they send, or the titles, those bots are sending spam email 24/7 and these guys are livin la vida loca while you wonder about "statistics"...

Decline of spam? Where?

They earn millions. But they send billions of spam mails every month to achieve this.
