Very noobish question. sorry.
So, i have a php script for a TGP website. Do i need to have a CMS to put it to use in my domain?
Thanks a lot! |
It depends what kind of script you have if it's a standalone one that doesn't need anything else then no you won't need a CMS, but if it is a script for a CMS then you would need to install whichever one it is for. If you need more specific help either e-mail me: [email protected] (replace the 0's for o's) or contact me via my icq in my sig.
Hope this made some sense Rob |
Welcome to GFY, yes it just depends on what the script itself needs to run.
|
Thanks a lot. The script i had downloaded turned out to be standalone, and after some fiddling, i managed to install it and get it running. Now i "just" need to learn some css.

Glad you found out and fixed your problem.. Good luck with CSS :)
freecsstemplates.org is a good place for finding CSS files and messing with them :) |
you are well on your way

Friend, Get your self a copy of Dreamweaver. There is an easy css editor on it. Make a backup of your css sheet. Just click on your css sheet and select what your would like to edit. Make the change and upload it to your test server and take a look. Not that difficult for a novice to learn with a WYSIWYG.
