Is this video real or fake? Wing suit?

BFT3K 09-20-2011 08:49 PM

This video reminds me of the time I used a pogo stick to jump all the way to the moon!

DBS.US 09-20-2011 08:50 PM

Real:2 cents:

Adam_M 09-20-2011 08:59 PM

Jeb is amazing. I remember a few years ago when he jumped with his friend Dwain Weston doing an over/under on a bridge and he friend hit the rail and died.

GARY LEE 09-21-2011 01:34 AM

It's real, but not in one jump. Good editing. Even pornstars are allowed good editing to make them look good.

Ad-Min 09-21-2011 01:40 AM

itīs real and crazy but somehow cool and scary.

TheDA 09-21-2011 02:02 AM

Real. I've watched a lot of his stuff. Big balls.

Mike Honcho 09-21-2011 02:02 AM

Old video, but yes 100% real.

Dangerous and Real

"In October 2003, while performing a proximity demonstration, wingsuiter Dwain Weston was killed attempting to fly over the bridge. Weston was wearing a wingsuit, a skydiving suit with fabric extended below the arms to the body and between the legs to catch air allowing for horizontal travel when skydiving. Weston was to go over the bridge while fellow skydiver Jeb Corliss was to go under it. Miscalculating his distance from the bridge, Weston struck a railing while traveling an estimated 120 mph, killing him instantly and dismembering extremities. Cleanup from his impact took two full days; many parts of Weston's body were never recovered and/or simply exploded from the sheer force of the collision."

pornguy 09-21-2011 06:00 AM

Wow.. did you not see the making of the latest transformers movie?? The wing suit jump in the city was real.

Double trouble 09-21-2011 06:22 AM

cool video, and it's real

DiF0r 09-21-2011 06:22 AM

Wow this guy has balls

Relentless 09-21-2011 06:33 AM

The military applications of this are amazing.
Drop 5 guys from an airplane miles away from their target.
Impossible to detect with radar or anything else.

I watched a television program about designing the suits a while ago and someone wearing one jumped from a plane and glided about 20 miles.

bronco67 09-21-2011 09:19 AM

I see that guy's future...it involves a face-full of cliff.

In this sport, your first mistake will be your last -- and no is perfect, so do the math.

_Richard_ 09-21-2011 10:01 AM

real and fucking awesome

i'd love to do that

Same can be said for flying a plane, driving a car 70 miles per hour, and walking at
night in Los Angeles.

nobody does that shit.. well almost nobody...

czarina 09-21-2011 10:53 AM

where's the other camera, on his penis?

stephane76 09-21-2011 11:03 AM

My brother has a GoPro cam and it's pretty damn awesome.

DaddyHalbucks 09-21-2011 11:19 AM

It's definitely one of the coolest videos I have ever seen.

Why 09-21-2011 01:15 PM

im pretty sure the crack is indeed in Switzerland and yes the video is real.

wing suits are one hell of a rush, but also a good way to die. they are doing it from planes more often now, so its easier to learn, but BASE wingsuiting is nuts!

good radar around very secure locations can sense a bird. no metal is needed to detect things flying, just a surface big enough to bounce off of.

Yes, and that means they'd show up at most as 5 birds...
I'd also expect a military version f the suit to be even harder to detect

2MuchMark 09-21-2011 08:10 PM

Totally real, and completely the coolest thing I have ever seen. I would love, love, love todo that.

2MuchMark 09-21-2011 08:14 PM

OMFG.

I wonder how many times the inventor tried out his product before he accomplished the finished product..that would be so cool

TheDA 01-17-2012 07:55 AM

Sometimes it doesn't always go to plan I guess.

bronco67 01-17-2012 08:02 AM

I'm amazed at the things people think are fake these days. Just because CGI exists, doesn't mean that people don't do crazy shit and film it.

helenaBlue 01-17-2012 08:02 AM

i'd say parts are real parts are probably fake..
like the one with the baloons?

If you do this sport, this is your future. A face full of cliff.

It's kind of like that guy that climbs mountains without ropes. Eventually a first mistake will be made, and it'll be your last.

Biggie Smalls Web Writing 01-17-2012 08:15 AM

As far as I know he is still alive now. He has multiple fractures to his legs.
