I found someone that can sleep more than me!!

My new flatmate has been asleep for 36 hours. I go and prod her every 12 hours or so to check she is alive....

I just took her some water as I'm affraid she will dehydrate.

Good job I didn't ask her to move in for her company.

wish i could do that - the only time i can sleep over 10 hours is if it's alcohol related and lots of it.

i have some inner alarm that forces me up between 6-8 hours - when i was younger i could ignore it and go back to sleep. not anymore, i try to go back to sleep but it's pointless, i just lay there and minute by minute i get more awake.

what was she doing before she slept for 36 hours? how many hours had she been awake for before going to sleep?

you're probably exaggerating - 36 hours sleeping means something wrong, like depression or some physical illness.

She had done a double shift (16 hrs) and then gone on to a club - I suspect there may have been a little artificial assistance to keep her awake and she has crashed big time.....

I had a roommate that would sleep 18 hours a day, for the entire 5 months he was my roommate. Seriously. He was ALWAYS asleep when I went to work, when I got home, when I woke up.

I can't imagine missing out in life like that. I mean it's like falling asleep and waking up to where everyone has personal robots, flying cars, and tube sites have all free porn.

Something is seriously wrong with her. All joking aside if you're not trolling you need to take her to a hospital. After going two solid weeks without sunlight, anything resembling nutritious food, and only sleeping maybe 15 minutes here and there if I was lucky, combined with the stress of being confined to a 1200 sq ft building, loud music and "escorts" I only slept for 24 hours and even then I woke up about halfway through to take a piss, eat and drink something and go back to bed.

Working a 16 hour shift and partying for a few hours isn't going to knock her out for a day and a half or longer.

So almost two days asleep... Daaamn
