I remember. It was in the 70's and mescaline was the drug of choice. I remember all the bandmembers stood stock still when they played. They hardly moved at all. Their concerts were produced better than any other band out there. June 23, 1973, Olympia Stadium, Detroit, MI, Dark Side of the Moon tour. The pig was there.

5 times I saw Pink floyd, the best being Dogs of War in Lexington, ky.

According to the Associated Press, organizers used a replica of the original vinyl pig, which has been in storage for 35 years but was discovered to be leaky. During the original photo shoot, the pig broke free and floated into the flight path for Heathrow Airport. It was later found in a farmer's field.

Not better than Dark Side or The Wall. Or Saucerful of Secrets, for that matter.

I would rate them:

1. Dark Side of the Moon
2. The Wall
3. Saucerful of Secrets
4. Pipers at the Gate of Dawn
5. Wish You Were Here
6. Atom Heart Mother
7. Animals
8. Meddle
9. Obscured By Clouds
10. Ummagumma

Me too. Saw Floyd in the very early 70s when Syd Barret was with them, they were high as kites and sucked.

Saw them a few times since and earlier this year Eva and I went to see Roger Waters perform The Wall in Prague. One of those nights I'll never forget.
