I remember Sly And The Family Stone quite well as a kid in the 70's, and they were HUGE, playing festivals left and right, on TV all the time, and of course all the hits-

? "I Want to Take You Higher"
? "Family Affair"

And now Sly Stone lives in a van down by the river...holy shit.

The dude from "Days of the New" was one of the first people on "Intervention" I believe. Pretty sad.

This is quite common. Some of the 80s hair bands are back living with their parents.

I put money in quite a few of these guys hands, knowing full well what they were going to be doing with it.

My understanding is he sold his publishing rights to his music to Michael Jackson back in the 80s for about 1 million dollars :mad:
