FBI, DEA thwart terror plot in U.S. involving Iran, officials say

Attorney General Eric Holder, when asked how Iran would be held "accountable" in an alleged plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States, said he expected action from the White House, the State Department and Treasury within the next few hours.

A US official expanded more about how the U.S. might hold Iran accountable. The official told CNN's Elise Labott that there are likely to be more sanctions and the U.S. will be taking this up with to the United Nations Security Council and other members of the international community.

Everyone is a fucking drama queen. So a foreign country was thinking about assassinating a diplomat. How many times do you think the US has done that?

1. Demonize Iran
2. False flag involving Iran and Israel
3. US gets involved

1. Any mention of Iran or Israel in any concept, even if it is soccer is conspiracy kook gold.
2. They will never be satisfied until the whole world is living in fear as they currently are.
3. Refuse to seek help about it despite the fact that they have isolated themselves from neighbours, friends and even family in the process of 'spreading the truth'.

Ali Akbar Javanfekr, a spokesman for Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, told CNN he had never heard of those accused of the plot. “I think the U.S. government is busy fabricating a new scenario and history has shown both the U.S. government and the CIA have a lot of experience in fabricating these scenarios and this is just the latest one,” he said. “I think their goal is to reach the American public. They want to take the public’s mind off the serious domestic problems they’re facing these days and scare them with fabricated problems outside the country.”
