What's the latest on browsers supporting html5 fully? Can't wait to use it but there's really no point unless it works on them all. Especially that piece of shit called IE.
|
guys, you can press continue at the bottom of the disclaimer and still surf the site. yeah, html5 is not suppost to be fully wc3 integrated until the year 2019 or so. But if your system is newer than 2008, I think you should be good. Just ran mine on FF 7.0.1
|
Amazing yeah html5 will be the new standard, can't wait to start with this

i have a feeling HTML5 animations and shit filling across the screen will become just as annoying as FLASH and DHTML did. And by the way that site slowed down my browser after I hit the enter button. :/

Funny.. Opera has been working on WebGL since 2008 but it's still not in the current browser.. Chrome won't run the site either because I don't have one of the video cards it supports... So at this point it's a loooooooonnng way from becoming a reality. |

html 5 is basically opensource with css3 integrated into the simple language. and it is stupid simple. as far as the level of interactivity, and scalability that it provides, the sky is the limit!
I also thought that moving your cursor through a 360 degree virtual world was rather awesome! |
i mean monetizing the user experience as intuitive though the GUI is pretty much the basis on my directories. just making it beautiful and convertable. html 5 is going to change everything when it comes out. Although when it does finally become the standard, many of the people reading this will be long gone out of the biz.
|
...sorry to be droning on and on but I never want my directories to be just a series of text links, 150 pixel thumbs, livejasmin popups and flash banners.
My sponsors are much more than this imho. sometimes, i just fall in love with amazing big boob sites with incredible content or sites like nena blue or ftv, where the photoshoots are as much of an erotic story as they are jacking off material. One of the reasons why i have spent so much damn time making my links visual. and it sets me apart, or at least i think it does. and i will continue to ponder and try to perfect what visual implimentations i have to make, invent or adjust to make every hard working site "convertable"... fuck css, looking awesome in some browsers and like shit in others. i will start learning html 5 now, so my learning curve is not as steep as it will be for others when this language goes online. |

Honestly, what is the point in making something so great if we have to wait a decade to use it? What do we have to wait for? IE? Fuck. |
safari is basically html 5 viewable right now. Most other browsers are also about 60-70 percent compliant. I expect to see these sites cropping up pretty rapidly as time goes on. That date is the compliance standard. But just like HD cable, I think browsers will be much more compliant within the next 2-3 years.

It insists I download Chrome (no way ..) |
It will take years to develop HTML5,which is why i will stuck with flash.

I am on a 21.5" i3. |
HTML5 is overrated. It has been said that it will take it years and years of development to replace Flash. But where will Flash be by then? Is it going to be exactly the same as now? Well no, with the release of Flash Player 11 the web is going 3D, because 11 has access to your computer resources for rendering. Check this out.

not working ff or chrome
|
not super impressed either
|
Worked fine in FF on my i7 12gb ram and ssd hdd, can't say I'm super impressed though.
|
Pretty cool! Worked on Chrome perfectly.
|
Cool acid trip. Loved the bears and moose dancing in front of a giant head of Che Guevara which later swallowed a train.
Seemed kind of slow and jerky. Couldn't tell if I was seeing a lot of rendering artifacts or if it was an intentional effect. |
