Google: No more info about the referer keywords
Google is now going to make SSL default for signed in users so we wont be able to get the query-keyword out of the referer-string.

They are fighting facebook for control of the internet, not a surprise they'd do something like this. It's their business info to make private, but yeah it pretty much sucks ass.

:Oh crap

At least the article states it will still be available in webmaster tools. Up to the top 1000 phrases.

The SSL is for Wifi... so the connection is encrypted, so people can't drive around and lift your history basically.
I've use https WEB google for a long time, as long as a page passes the google query through, anything can capture the query in the url. |
I can currently track every keyword in the Urchin Program I recommended that we buy from Google for $10,000 6 months ago -- now they make an important part of the program worthless. I will have to consider cutting my AdWords expenditures now that I don't get the tracking data to justify the AdWords buys. |
