Most people I know are running cyanogenmod on their phones so the stock operating system is completely irrelevant. The only people I know who are using iphones are friend's borderline elderly parents and hipster faggots.

I was in the Apple Store the other day getting the power cable replaced on a 6 month old MBP. The store was PACKED FULL of old farts asking all sorts of stupid questions. I actually felt bad for the support guys stuck having to provide answers. |

I think this chart lies. I've had Android since day one. I've only had one update, and that was recently.

Different strokes for different folks.
Apple has always been good for people who prefer one button on their device because two buttons is too confusing. While Apple was still insisting that a mouse must have only one button, I was loving my seven button mouse under Linux. I'm now posting this on my Linux (Android) phone running the latest Shabbymod. It took maybe five minutes to update the OS to the latest image. My custom scripts run from my SD card, so they were unaffected. I love it. Somewhere nearby, someone else is loving the simplicity of their iphone. They don't mind that they can't quickly whip out a custom script to activate different features when they are at home, because they don't know what a script is. Iphone is perfect for them. They don't even need to know how to click "My Computer" to open their phone as a USB drive. I, on the other hand, like the fact that I can quickly and easily adjust my OS any time I want by connecting tbe USB and changing files in the Android OS. |
