How do you manage massive blog or tgp networks?

Right now I am just at the stage of having a manager that has all unique pass and usernames blogs but is there a nice system you use in order to somehow master hundreds of networks. Granted there is still lots of time spent in front of the computer. I was wondering if anyone had an idea or would share if they had some opensource setup they use for managing a very large number... Meaning moving from one to the next could be done in an application of some kind and not jumping from site to site.

Does Blogilo or something like that work well?

I do it the old fashioned way and just bookmark all my wordpress blog admin pages and keep them all in one bookmark folder and then right next to that folder I have one devoted to each individual blog stats info.

Here's another question...

Do you do something like 50 scheduled updates and let the blog sit? How often do you visit the blogs? I wouldn't bother with comments unless it's only one of the blogs I'm on on a regular basis.

The bookmark is worth a spin as I always keep everything in text docs or password databases.

Yeah, actually it's so over the top my skepticism really shoots through the roof...

Only on rare occasion is their easy money either through luck on extreme acumen, usually luck that comes from that whom has the acumen.

When I make a blog, I create 8-10 good sized posts and then move on to the next blog. I usually add 1 post to each blog every month and will update my more popular blogs every 2 weeks. It's time consuming doing it manually but it's working for me so I'm just gonna keep at it!

What I'd like to know is how you manage to promote them all?

Setting up a WP site is easy, but then do you just do link exchanges + directory submits?

Aka_Bluey 11-06-2011 12:20 AM

uBot and/or ZennoPoster Pro ftw

.

Google. Most of my blogs get around 100-150 uniques/daily just from Google and that's the traffic that actually buys. I submit to Twans directories of course but I only make a sale from that traffic every once in awhile. Just submit your blog sitemaps to Google, Yahoo, and Bing, and your blogs start receiving traffic in no time.

wordpress multisite + managewp (thank you adradco) + notepad...tell me you love me in the morning

Adraco 11-06-2011 02:11 AM

yeah, try managewp.com

scouser 11-06-2011 06:14 AM

use something like mars edit
(program to post to wp blogs using xmlrpc)

100 times quicker. not even much of an exageration there. save sooo much time now i have all my blogs in there. auto uploads, resizes (not crops though.. missing function i wish it had) etc. even works with custom fields.

DO you need to use a plugin to submit the sitemaps?

I dunno what this OP is doing, but many of my blogs and Networks have several functions. Some blogs are just feeder traffic to other sites as other blogs snipe high paying keywords. In short, hard to answer your question unless we know what you're trying to do.

Make more money of course, LOL... The more productive one can be with the time they use the more they can fit into that day.

Sorry to disappoint you or go back on my word. The matter is that from now on I'm only going to deal with things that rely mostly just on me. The frustration came from dealing with models and producers directly and all the time delays and inconsistencies.

V_RocKs 11-06-2011 01:46 PM

I find blogs in my network all the time that I forgot about... So maybe I am not the best one to ask...

But for passwords, Lastpass plugin...
Live posting, Windows Live Writer...

NoWhErE 11-06-2011 07:07 PM

What about hosting? What do you guys use for multiple Ips?

Do you all use private registrations or different reg info for domains?

vivaldi011 11-07-2011 03:57 AM

custom script, private reg and multiple hosting solutions :-)

Arton 11-07-2011 07:30 AM
