"God" is representative of what can be considered the creator of all life. Sometimes analogous with the sun.

I assure you that even in our "quantum" reality, the creator of this ether is as real as a bullet to the dome.

I am a humanist, and I know for a fact that many religious people are far from idiots, and some have been among the most inspirational and heroic people I have known or known of.

When it comes to religion, I prefer to find the common ground, and focus more on my own spiritual well-being and development than constantly mocking others, not that I don't enjoy poking fun at all institutions. I'm just wired that way I guess. :)

The day the world realizes religion is anti God is the day the world will head in a better direction.

Heh. ADG must have me on ignore.

Edit: Nevermind, just read his Edit text. :)

Vjo 11-11-2011 10:45 PM

Pretty cool you both posted the same thing. :)

If you are raised with religion it is almost impossible to give it up fully. You can give it up but why lose a certain psycological comfort.

Yes logically there is prob no God as taught to us by man but that doesnt mean there is not something noone knows about.

But maybe not. Prob not. But then again miracles are all around us in the Universe so who knows.

Which really leaves it wide open.

What is time? There really is no time. Only now. So how can we be here now and not then if there is no such thing as time?

We are caught by time in this realm but perhaps we are not caught by time in another realm.

I just thought of that. :) It is heavy. :) Somewhere in the mystery of what is time and what is distance may lie the eternal answers.

Lil story.. :) When I was 15 (1970s) I took my last acid trip. :) At that time I sensed I was a spirit. An out of body thing very slightly but enuf so I said never am I going to visit Pink Floyd like this again. :)

I was sitting in the basement on bean bag chairs listening to Dark Side Of The Moon a "new album" my two friends had got. I had to get out of there. So I went upstairs by myself. I had to take a walk. :)

The shit was scary. And that was that, last time but I do remember sort of "floating" outside of myself for a moment. lol :) I sensed a spirit. That I was a spirit in a body.

Howard Stern rails against LSD. Agreed man. I would recommend never going there and I am never going back but I seen some shit while I was there.

At 15 I didnt make much of it but guys like Hoffman and Leary, got to hand it to em. Too scary for me to fuck around with.

I had just about the same exact experience although I had taken shrooms and was listening to Yes. It didnt scare me though or make me uncomfortable and it was actually the best thing I've ever experienced and it leads me no doubt we are spirits. I don't understand why you would be against experiencing that?

Remember black light posters :) They still sell them?

My folks basement consisted of three things:

1) a sound system (incl a $125 turntable stylus :) )

pitch dark with only black lights on

2) blacklight posters

http://www.sqvirtual.com/img/blacklightposter1.jpg

this one i actually had for sure

http://www.sqvirtual.com/img/blacklightposter3.jpg

i def had this too

http://www.sqvirtual.com/img/blacklightposter2.jpg

3) dope

mexican cannabis at $15 an oz and then up to $40 an oz in 1974 for good shit

white cross (speed) lick your lips, lick your lips, talk, talk

acid, the orig was good, the later blotter wasnt

mushrooms, never did them tho, too weird looking plus eveyone said you had to vomit after eating some which turned me off

downers in capsule form, i dont know what they were but we would go out and drive and you would see real hallucinations for like one sec, a guy would go, "hey look out for that, oh forget it"

the best was real THC in pill form supposedly but hard to get. All you did was laugh on that for like 3 hours till your belly was sore.

Then by about 1979, PCP (animal tranquilizer) but that shit was bad news and made you feel like shit

Never tried Ectasy but sort of wish I would have.

hehe That was the 70s :) Some of you were there :stoned

first three from Demons and Wizards

it changed us for sure, i think for the better

Wow very intersting. I have never really told anyone this before and never heard of this happening to anyone else.

I was only 15 or maybe 16 and it wasnt the drugs so much (well actually it was) but I didnt like blotter that much but it was mostly hearing Dark Side of the Moon on acid in the dark with bl posters on sitting on bean bag chairs that keep falling away. :) It was too much for my young mind I guess. :)

Plus I didnt like how blotter makes everything fucken weird even tho I did it a couple time previously. Bad trip.

It was mostly the Pink Floyd tho. Freaked me out. True acid rock. They came upstairs my two buds and I told em lets go for a ride I cant handle Floyd anymore. I pussied out. :)

So we went for a ride and I was better altho that was a strange ride for a while. I think I was driving. How I dont know. Driving on the wizard of oz trail sort of. :)

I used to have crazy parties where I invited the whole town over. Anyone could come. The coats would be piled 4 feet high on my folks bed. They were gone to Cali for two weeks. :)

The house would be trashed. The day before about 8 of us kids would have it back to 99.5% (yes 1/2% gone :) ) in about 5-6 hours.

Only true acid rock:

Floyd
Zep
Uriah Heep

Dont ask me why but it becomes electric under LSD.

My theory is the guitar work, Waters, Page, Hensley.

Was Waters the guitarist? Think so.

party tonight at my place :)

Thats funny, I was 15 at the time too. I was home alone and decided to eat about a gram of shrooms and within about a half hour I became aware of my higher self and was completely engulfed into my spirit. Although I was still attached to my body my awareness or consciousness was outside of my body and I felt one with everything. It was 30 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. Anyone who's ever experienced this knows its not a hallucination, its why the Indians took peyote and why the Beatles sought out the Maharishi. Its also why people on acid think they can fly out of windows, they feel like they are no longer in a body and think they are spirits, which they are.

I dont think there is any topic as Teencat doesnt really care and I just felt like posting somewhere something interesting. :) TC's thread seems like a good place to goof around. :)

this is such a good song, this captures the feeling, this makes you high, this makes the adrenalin and endorphins flow as you put the foot into the 350 LT1..

..as you make the lil lady and her friends in the back seat feel the hard pull to the rear, a lil thing called inertia and HP :) it was all about sex, drugs and rock and roll!

Nothing makes a teen/young twenties girl hotter than a muscle car. Set em right on the rumbling furry center console :) Throw on some Boz. Light a fatty and motor on. In those days all we did was cruz. All day everyday. Go places. Or just cruz.

Loud as poss with a Fosgate Booster in the trunk and some high powered 6x9s :) Maybe a homemade cabinet. This was before subwoofers. This is when the WHOLE frequency range got way out. The further you heard us coming from the better. LOL

I still remember in South Minneapolis (1980) going east down Lake St and turning right from Lake Street to Hennepin Avenue then going south down Hennepin and cranking this to the new punk rock babes on the right (west side of Hennepin) who were lining up along Hennepin showing off their new punk styles.

Which we of course thought were hot as hell.

Like it was yesterday. Red 67 Camaro. Built to the max. 350 LT1, 850 Holly double pumper, full cam, N50 Mickey Thompsons. Mallory street/strip ignition, cutouts on my exhaust so I could open my exhaust if I ran anyone and a 456 rear end for super torque out of the hole. Just another car on the street. hehe That is how you were cool in 1980 :)

i cranked it with the Fosgate and you could hear this for two blocks clearly

even above the headers :)

Rock on man :thumbsup :stoned

Vjo 11-12-2011 01:51 AM

Im gonna scan a fucken pic :)

I should have never sold that car. Needed the cash at the time. Sold it for $2000 in 1991. 20 $100 bills and some guy drove it away. It was at it's lowest value then but still worth way more than 2 Gs.

Very interesting. See I never took shrooms but I heard they do make you more in touch with yourself or perhaps wiith your spirit. But wow very interesting. Maybe I got just a taste of that. And at 15 it was too much espec in my context.

In a way it was a highly in touch sort of state tho but when you are as high as that, there is no way to maintain publicly. :)

You are a wreck and forget about it.

What hard drugs do show you tho is we are all highly chemical. And a tiny little bit of odd chemical in our systems can really f you up. That is kind of scary too. hehe

Hard drugs are basicly kind of scary unless you are young and fearless. :)

Never tried meth thank God :) Or crack. :) or H. :) or Opium :) My goodness I missed a lot. :)

I do kind of wonder about H and opium. :) But cant go to H and where do you get opium lol

From the police station, to the basketball team at the basketball game, to the single babe in her apt, to the guy in the very back of the bar :Oh crap, to the hot lil freshmen in the dorm, to the jackass who is drunk and an asshole, to the girl who you once new who doesnt say nothing and neither do you :) everyone lets the pizza guy in and loves the pizza guy. Plus I could double park ANYWHERE. As long as I was wearing my Dominos Uniform. :)

If I was a lil younger and if they would have me back I would prob deliver a few zowskis. It is in my blood and I loved it really. Make maybe $80-$100 in 10 hours. Not bad.

More if you hustled but I never hustled. But I never made mistakes so mgmt let it slide. :) Never f'd up an order. New the area like the back of my hand. Took some nasty spills in 6 1/2 years. Had to scale some outer stairs in the winter that were basicly iron fire escape stairs up to some charcters lil apt.

Went 92-93 winter with no heat in a 1980 Toyota Turcell at -10 with TRIPLE long underware on.

but always managed to keep a steady high

Vjo 11-12-2011 04:40 AM

taking tips and getting stoned

and everybody loved me, a guaranteed paycheck

but it had it's moments too, like when someone would not pay and then grab the hotbag. That would be a no-no. One time I wrassled the hot bag back from a guy, the pizza was all jumbled, I was well in their house. Once I had the hotbag I went for the door and literally ripped the screen door off the hinges as it didnt open.

So it had it's moments. I once delivered to a girl named Ladonna who sent me a pic and said we had to get together sometime. She sent me the pic in about 1985. I delivered her a zowski in 1993. I knew her. Did she know me. I said nothing. She was still pretty. Very pretty.

another man might have been angry
another man might have been hurt
another man never would have let her go
