spazlabz 11-14-2011 07:20 AM

I saw Ozzy during his Bark at the Moon tour and the show was incredible. This is very good news, I wish I could hit one of their dates here in the US if they come here

officegirl2006 11-14-2011 07:44 AM

i wont be dashing out to get a ticket....

just there for the cash i reckon

sperbonzo 11-14-2011 07:50 AM

That would be awesome! They were the first concert I went to, August 5th, 1975 at Asbury Park, NJ, when I was 12 years old. My parents let me go with some family friends that were 18. It was with Ozzie, on the "Sabotage" tour. The next day I went out and bought their first album, "Black Sabbath", and loved them ever since.

I may not watch them live but for sure I'll get the 2012 album! This is history and it will never be repeated again.

not quite sure if that's good or bad :winkwink:

SykkBoy 11-14-2011 10:40 AM

I'll go see the tour, but don't really care if I buy the new album or not...

baddog 11-14-2011 11:10 AM

I saw Black Sabbath February 24. 1971, their Paranoid album had just come out. Can't really say it was their "tour" since they were a lead act for Grand Funk Railroad. To be honest, I am not sure how many people knew who they were yet, but by the end of their set they had 17,000 new fans. The Forum erupted.

I've seen Ozzy more times than any other act/musician other than maybe SLAYER or Motley Crue and he's never disappointed me yet...

As I was driving around today I realized that it was Feb 11, 1970. My first concert would have been 3 Dog Night, with lead acts Steppenwolf and the Grass Roots. I did not have my license yet, so it must have been late 1968 or early 1969 as "One is the Loneliest Number" was the 3 Dog Night hit and it was the release of Steppenwolf's Monster album

Come to think of it, I saw Cheap Trick at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum when they were the lead act for The Who. My wife was pregnant with my daughter so that had to be 1982.

I saw him at Ozfest in Aug '02 (?). I was surprised. While you could not understand a word he said on his TV show, he sang pretty well. My date said he was lip syncing, but she has always been a skeptic. :1orglaugh

If you start at the beginning of the map -- Sabbath is the genesis of all Metal.

For truth! The man is a fucking machine that gets put into motion and does not stumble, this will be an epic event for those who care. I look forward to taking the young ones that can appreciate the skill that these musicians had and have........cant wait!!!!!

iMind 11-14-2011 07:07 PM

She should know, he is from another world, he can't speak this language, but he can scream this shit better then anyone as a frontman!!!!! I have never seen a better, and have been to a couple shows in my dayz as well, this will not disapoint...unless they never make it out of studio :1orglaugh

adultchatpay 11-14-2011 11:02 PM

Arton 11-15-2011 12:03 AM

SomeCreep 11-15-2011 04:47 AM

I went to their reunion tour back in 1998. Incubus opened. Followed by Pantera. Now that was a fucking awesome concert.

That was kinda cool to play around with. Though, they have W.A.S.P. listed under glam metal.. I would have classified them more as shock rock.

Vendzilla 11-15-2011 10:40 AM

Remember the country singer Mel Tillis? Guy had a bad stutter but sang just fine, Ozzy reminds me of that.
I saw Ozzy at US Festival 83 on the second day, wasn't over the top, but he gave a good show, I wasn't impressed with Judas Priest, they sounded just like they did on the album, too much like the album

EukerVoorn 11-15-2011 11:14 AM

I like Bill Ward's beard, looks good on him :)

That's not Bill Ward.. Bill's the second from the left.. I have no idea who the two guys on the ends are.

Strap On Princess 11-15-2011 11:17 AM

Yes I am so there

fitzmulti 11-16-2011 02:30 AM

Definitely would be down for this! ;-)

facialfreak 11-16-2011 05:15 AM

Ozzy was being given the wrong meds during "The Osbournes" ...

Sharon talks about it often on The View ..

He is back from his mental vacation now, and sharper than ever!!

Ozzy invented heavy metal .... true story!
