It must be higher than that. I know people who have multiple accounts for their business profile, their education profile, and then one for family and friends. This is your average user with 2-4 profiles.
Then, you have people who make artificial networks with thousands of fake profiles. What would you guess the actual number of fake profiles are? I'd wager 1/4. |
Helps them to be able to claim more users though, not sure that they would want to eliminate fakes too badly.

They purge huge amounts of accounts over time but I know it to be closer to 40-50%.
You need to appreciate that there are auto captcha solving programs being used with millions of email accounts and proxies, making 10 thousand accounts an hour, or atleast they were doing that and they have not had phone verification for ever, it's half and dropping. :2 cents: |
