Is this lenovo laptop good????
I just bought a 15.6" Lenovo laptop which was a must needed purchase for a replacement. Did I make the right choice tho? I can cancel it if I need too reconfig the order. I bought with these specs: for like 950. I don't know shit about this stuff. If I made a bad choice please let me know so I can change it. I appreciate it. Lenovo T520

all depends on what you are using it for, it's a decent laptop, not a fan of that graphics card but if you aren't much of a gamer it doesn't matter and you will be fine :2 cents:

That resolution is no fun to use.
|
The resolution is a big concern now. I am calling them to change my order now I think. :)

I just bought a brand-new HP with i5 for $750, all of the other specs are similar except the resolution.
|
Does it sound good?

$950 is way too much to pay for a 15.6" laptop w/ i3 processor + 6GB RAM + 500GB HDD. The price should be less than 1/2 of what you paid. Just for comparison, Best Buy has a 15.6" Lenovo laptop w/ i5 processor + 6GB RAM + 750 GB HDD for $599. I've even seen Black Friday deals on 17.3" laptops w/ i7 processor for $600. You should cancel your order and shop elsewhere because you're getting robbed blind by that retailer.

I got a new one for black friday, it's ok. Boots fast, finally went to 64 bit windows 7. I'm going to upgrade my ram to 4 gig and maybe upgrade my hard drive at some point, only spent $179 for it.

In a place I used to work we found the IBM(Lenovo) laptops to be very reliable compared to most

Got my wife something almost exactly like that one - Lenovo as well. Not sure on the graphics card, but I know her HD is a little bigger. We paid <$500 for it about two months ago. It works great for her to check email, surf and do her school work. She loves it so far and it's pretty damn quick. Starts up in about 25 seconds. Spanks my quad core AMD.

the recent thinkpads are great, and priced very well. If you call them directly you can usually get them to add a few more coupons for you. Awesome customer service. :)
