Question for all L.A webmasters/self employed people
Are all Los Angeles based affiliates required to fill out this form if they make over $5k a year via 1099's?
http://finance.lacity.org/form/contractorlist.pdf And if so, what to put under "total amount of contract" and "valuation of work" if we don't know? How can we know this if the year isn't even over yet? I used to live in OC we never had to fill this out. Is this exclusive to L.A? |

I'll have you know that I hate Cali. And I loathe Los Angeles.

What if we end up getting a big job and get an unexpected amount of money? When I lived in Orange County we didn't have city tax, only state and federal. |
Also, does the tax apply to webmasters too who only do business over the internet?

You need an accountant.
