long-time fans, some who claimed they would never listen to her music again.

Singer Kelly Clarkson's endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul on Twitter Thursday cost her some long-time fans but those new ones are pushing her higher in the charts.

In an apparent shedding of skin, perhaps of even those who already had her album, Ms Clarkson's loss of long-time fans gained her new ones in Dr Paul's supporters pushing her album Stronger to number 14 on Amazon.com's best selling list within 24 hours.

By Friday it was at 13, up 28 spots from her former rank at number 41.

Endorsed: Kelly Clarkson's album Stronger rose to number 13 on Amazon's best selling list Friday - up from 41 - after endorsing Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul

There are a total of 20 editions of the Ron Paul newsletters, which have passages or sections of racist, bigoted, or anti homosexual language, as well as conspiracy theories.

Since the conspiracy theories, aren't really the issue here, lets stay on focus and talk about the racist passages.
:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Not only did he allow racist and homophobic articles to be published under his name, but conspiracy theories as well. Even if he didn't write the articles, it just goes to show you what kind of people he associates himself with. And nothing in that link you posted absolves him of any wrong doing, it says the same thing all the rest say: he didn't know about it, but he takes responsibilty, bla bla bla.

It says a lot when typically rational people are so disenchanted with the state of politics that they're drawn to this nutcase. Willing to overlook all of his insane ideas just because he has two or three good ones.

He states time and time again the only reason he's in the Republican party is because of the two party system and it's funding. If he leaves that two party system he cuts out a good portion of his campaign funding.
