Barefootsies 01-11-2012 03:19 PM

I feel your pain.

There are a ton of big pay, and long term, projects out there on the various forums looking for the right developer and programmers. Unfortunately, you have a lot of bad apples to sort through to find those with the right skills who can deliver on time.

:disgust

MarkDeus 01-11-2012 03:27 PM

Those with the right skills will love this job

"Senior web developer ... it's an intern job." Senior developer, or intern? Do you mean in-house? Intern would be for someone finishing up school, with no or very little pay.

Caligari 01-11-2012 06:03 PM

hey Blackmonsters did you check the page, there are several listings up-
http://www.gammajobs.com/Senior-Web-...er-job-84.html

In any case Blackmonsters did a few jobs for me recently, both of which turned out great and were done in a timely manner.

I checked it out.

I don't have these : "Memcache, Hadoop, HipHop, node.js, Python".

It's hard to be a "perfect fit" when there are so many different tools and languages
out there.

I had Hadoop once, cleared up with a shot of penicillin;)

Actually it does say "If one or more than those word rings a bell, now is your chance to come and meet us."

So it doesn't sound like they expect you to know them all.

Are you interested? based or willing to work in Montreal?
If so, please contact me :)

candyflip 01-12-2012 08:33 AM

Was the intern bit, just a joke?

PR_Sebas 01-12-2012 08:46 AM

I'm guessing he meant "internal" (as in Montreal, in office) not "intern", just a typo.

Good luck in the job search!

seeric 01-12-2012 08:49 AM

Hiring in house is the way to go. Especially these days. There are many more upsides to getting that task done, than the few downsides that go with hurdling that obstacle of people wanting to telecommute. Most of that telecommuting days is over, except in rare occasions.

MarkDeus 01-12-2012 08:53 AM

Yeah, sorry guys, I meant "in-house"
I am not 100% familiar with all the expressions, since English is not my primary language

MarkDeus 01-12-2012 01:44 PM

I'm totally interested but it seems impossible.
I would need to get a passport, place to live, a car(I think), a work permit, etc...

Seems like a lot of money just to get there.

fris 01-12-2012 09:20 PM
