AFSC - Finally
 

Well I posted back in December about problems getting my content order from AFSC fulfilled, I'd link to the post but I don't have enough posts yet. :1orglaugh

Quite a few people replied to the thread but nothing from AFSC themselves. Anyway I get an email a couple of days later telling me that the image content is starting to be uploaded to my server and here was some links to a bunch of videos for me to download. :thumbsup

There was also an explanation and a major apology from Burke with a little sweetener thrown into the deal.

Things however got put on hold whilst Christmas came along so at this point I've got about 1/3 of my order and it wasn't until the beginning of January that their techs would be back.

There's a bit of confusion come the New Year with Burke believing that my content was now continuing to upload when in fact nothing had. So yet again I get in touch only this time Burke comes back with quite possibly the best way to treat customers you've pissed off beyond belief. I can't go into detail but needless to say I was very surprised.

At the same time their new website came on-line with the new download system so the whole of my order was available for instant download. It's not perfect, needs a couple of tweaks imho but far better than before and fast too. Just getting the 2257 docs for your content is a plus :1orglaugh

With proper instant downloads and a new customer service person, Loryn, AFSC may well have finally got their shit together.

Loryn being there made me trust enough to order and I wasn't dissapointed, I'm sure she will clean up house and they will be as good as they can be with that kind of archive of content, she rocks. Thanks for the reminder, I need to sort out my next order.

Totally agree, having Loryn there can only be a positive for them.

Loryn rocks. Much better choice to have running their operation than the braindead content they had in there before.

i wonder if i should celebrate everytime one of my clients successfully got his order

Hey Hey Hey... it's not about that... it's about the fact that there were complete morons running this company into the ground and the company hired me to clean it up... I am turning things around and doing this right...

Jesus man... I thought we were cool, I know we're competitors now, but you don't have to jump in every thread and shit on me and the work I am doing to turn around an entire company because of that... :disgust

I've always had your back and said great things about you and your company, and even though I took this job and I'm now a competitor, I will still say great things about you and your company, because it's about loyality and self respect... :tongue:

At least we'll always have the stairwell at The Palms when you, me, and Frenchie were locked in... :1orglaugh
