I'm no longer with Video Secrets
 

I don't have anything bad to say about the company or the crew of vs but as of today, I am no longer with them.

I have learned a lot over the last year (almost) working for them about the cam industry and how they can be marketed. I have met a lot of good people thru my accounts and thru webmaster events. Being an affiliate for so long it was a good feeling to work on the other side, to work with and help affiliates, even responding on weekends and getting replies like "What are you doing in the office on Sunday?"

I'm not looking to relocate, I don't want to leave the LA area. I have it really good here.

I think VS just lost out. You contacted me quickly when you joined VS, talked me into pushing them, great. Then at the YNOT Summit you were all about VS - it was all you ever talked about. You did good work for them.

I don't think anyone wants to censor you, but getting you to recognize basic facts as facts would be awesome.

I don't think very highly of Video Secrets nor of your politics but from what I've seen you do seem like a decent and capable affiliate rep or manager and I wish you luck. And yes your politics are your own.

business is one thing and politics are another even as someone who finds himself at odds with vendzilla when it comes to politics i would never not do business with someone because of their views on politics

I have always gone into a mode at conventions, we did a main stream one at Affiliate Summit West last week , I was my aggresive self and it worked for me. It's nice to know I can sell in mainstream. I had some of those affiliates sign up and write some very nice comments about me.

Funny, you should hear the other side, the guys that just read the posts and tell me they love reading them when I see them.

I welcome a discussion, that's not the usual case here

I don't think its about your political view but rather the way you come out and amount of time you spend arguing about it on the board. If you were to work offline sales, I doubt any employer be thrilled you wearing NRA t-shirt and drive around with right wing bumper stickers on your work vehicles. I hope you learned your lesson. Last few months, how many debates have I got into? I think the last one was with theDoc , when's the last time you saw him post?
I've been going thru some personal growth, doing some work at a sober living house to help out, I've lost some weight. Few other things.

So do you also doubt any employer would be thrilled if someone wore an Al Gore "An Inconvenient Truth" t-shirt or a Plan Parenthood "I just had an abortion" T-shirt, and drove around with a left wing bumper stickers on their work vehicle??? :1orglaugh

Don't see any difference. If you're representing company, leave your personal beliefs at home. You are WORKING and getting paid. In return, you should follow some sort of code of ethics.

After all these years we finally meet at internext.. You tell me about a great product and company and I tell you I will follow up after your great impression on me on the product.

You had a lot of pride in the company and did a great job getting me wanting to follow up with you on some of your new projects there like the psycic sites.

Not sure if I will be doing that now.

Not sure if they let you go over money or what. But money is what I make and I have a track record in doing so. Not sure if they fired you over something that happened at internext cause this is strange timing. But your pitch to me at internext was well done and like I said I had every intention with following up with you and your company as a result of our talk at internext.

I cant say I will still be doing that now.
