How Do You Work?
 

Do you go about your day with a planned schedule, such as:

1. Updated site A
2. Build site B
3. Build links for site C

etc.

Or, do you have a randomness to your work day? Excluding interruptions or matters that require immediate attention.

I'm more random right now and I'm wondering if I could be more productive if I gave myself a schedule. Thoughts?

Random. But I do higher priority stuff first.

Ro8in, :thumbsup It's a nice thought, but I just quit my full-time job with benefits to become a full-time affiliate, so that doesn't seem possible yet. Or, I'm not putting enough thought into it. It is nice to think about, real nice!

Thanks for sharing. It's strange to have no structure at the moment, having always worked for others and within their structure. So, I want to make sure I'm getting the best out of myself now that I'm on my own.

I try to stick to a schedule, but working from home means you don't always stick to it...

Mostly random

The most important mission in your world now is to make sure absolutely no one in your real life finds out about this. Once motherfuckers in your real life realize you cant be fired the pricks will call you for everything from lets go have a beer to my car died come get me. 9 am, noon, 6 pm or fuckin midnight, and they will never NEVER accept the "im trying to work" line, bastards. I'd need a fucking calculator to figure out the amount of times i've heard "come on, you're not really doing anything"

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh Shit, I wish I would of saw this post before I told people. It's already started, just with family (hope it stays that way). I've had to babysit my nephew instead of him going to daycare, twice now. Asked to make phone calls, pick up groceries, and wait for a package at my mom's house. I'm screwed huh?

Well now the most important phrase you need to memorize is "my fucking cell phone shuts itself off on its own, thats why it's going directly to voicemail, it's weird. I need to get that looked at". i went thru 3 cellphones in 6 years with that same same problem and no one questioned it.
