Kind of interesting but is it based on where the pirated software is hosted or coming from, or the percentage of the population involved in piracy (whether uploading/downloading)?

If the US is still at the bottom of the list of those downloading pirated software I would be more surprised. Bottom of the list of countries distributing pirated software - not so surprising.

the list looks pretty strange to say the least. The countries that dominate the piracy business are in the bottom 10? hmmmmmm....

Now, if you only take "by percentage of population", then it makes a little more sense, but on the other hand, it's extremely unrealistic, because I doubt that Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Azerbaijan users would buy legal US/Europe stuff anyways, so I imagine they are downloading something basically because it's available. And not exactly from Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Azerbaijan sites :2 cents:
