Just take a look at these numbers, these aren't even fibbed!
Truth is that this is the universities speed and I'm here on a Friday night finishing up some work. Hardly anyone is here on a Friday night so I've got free reign to the network. Pretty impressive for using tubesubmitter I would say.

Videotron just started offering 120Mbps Down, and 20Mbps up. Just insane!

This is free, but as an engineering student I do have hefty fines. I think here at the University they cap you off daily when you hit around 30GB though.
My ISP at home is mediacom and downs at about 16-20 Mbps. I've downloaded over 1TB no problem with them. My only complaint about mediacom is that they shut off 4-6 hours a day (usually at night) but that's why I'm here right now typing this is because the damn internet won't work.

I get 31Mbps over my 802.11n wifi with my Vidéotron 30 plan ....

More than enough speed for this old man! :thumbsup

At home now, I get 25 down, 10 up.

At my office, I get 35 up and down.

I had a 300 baud dial-up modem once. When I finally upgraded to 1200 baud I thought it was so fast that I could;t imagine having or wanting anything faster. The good ol' days..!

Verizon fios offers speeds close to that for your home connection, it's about 200$ a month. Just wish we had fioz available here.....

This is at home, and it costs about 10$ for a month. This is unlimited until 350GB of bandwith. After that, it is reduced by 80%.

This is the Universities connection, I don't know specifically if the ISP is it's own ISP. I do know that you get an email if you use a lot of bandwidth. I've uploaded 20GB at a time with it but after about 30GB in a period of a couple days they send out an email.

I'm not even sure if they cut off your internet after a set amount but I'll have to spend some portion of fridays using bandwidth intensive applications because of these speeds.
