Best domain reseller
I am looking for a good way to sell new domains to my clients. I am looking for a reseller service so i will make something off the domains i register for my clients. Any one who has a good idea how to go about this?
|
A pretty bold plan to make an extra dozens of dollars per year.
Good luck to you! |
well as this is all recurring it is extra money I could just send them to another and let them make money on it. but we are going to register about 500 names per year so i would like to see some cash coming our way. :)

this is by the way a mainstream project not adult.
|
you could try enom.com
|
thanks i will have a look.

Use coupon codes at godaddy
|
that is not making me any money, so that is not the right solution
|
Any more suggestions?

You can buy a reseller account for some $60 or so per year from Godaddy. And with that you get to set your own prices for domains, renewals and so on. Godaddy will still do all phonesupport, credit card processing but very much in the background and your customer will never notice anything but your name.
Godaddy will have minimum prices, which they will take from you and you can actually decide to cut under those prices, but then you have to pay the difference yourself! But if you're going to be having ~500 domains, it would totally be worth it getting a reseller account and then adding just $1 to each domain and let it sit there and collect! |
that are something pointers thanks, i will look into them

My advice is don't go with one, go with many.
Different companies offer different discounts at several times, tune your back end to use the API of the cheapest option automatically. That's what we do, since we put in the work to do it we've increased domain profit by about 30%. Of course, you need custom coding, otherwise you will be constantly manually checking and updating in your software backend. It's only useful to do if you can automate it. |
