Swept all three states. The race is not over until it is over . . . . like it is for Ron Paul.

I went to the CNN homepage a few hours ago and the headline was "Santorum Surges" which I read as, "Anal Fecal Froth Surges."

ummm

"Romney was backed by 29 percent of Republican voters in the telephone poll conducted February 2-6, down from 30 percent in a survey in early January, although the change was within the poll's margin of error."

"Support for Ron Paul, a U.S. congressman from Texas, grew by 5 percentage points to 21 percent. That moved him into second place and ahead of former House of Representatives speaker Newt Gingrich, whose support slipped to 19 percent from 20 percent.

Support for Rick Santorum, a former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania, rose by 5 percentage points to reach 18 percent, putting him just behind Gingrich, according to the poll."

Nobody can stand Romney, so they keep looking for alternatives.

What is funny to me is that earlier yesterday CNN had a story about how the three caucuses/elections that were being held yesterday were pretty meaningless, but now that Santorum has won them all suddenly it is a game changer. LOL

Whoever it is, I hope its someone Obama can beat easily -- because I don't want to see any of these assholes in the White House.

I'm no liberal, but I think Obama has earned a second shot to continue what he's doing(with the the exception of a few things). The auto industry is waking up, the jobs numbers are getting better, and he popped Bin Laden. Plus, I just like the guy himself.

If one of these nutjobs gets in there, their sole primary directive will be to make about 5 people richer, and ban something.

seeandsee 02-08-2012 08:01 AM

Ron Paul will finish them on end line!

Coup 02-08-2012 08:04 AM

God Blesses my boy Santorum.

Jars of desk fetuses for each american!

WebairGerard 02-08-2012 08:35 AM

looks like a race again for sure

Relentless 02-08-2012 08:46 AM

Very low turnout shows people aren't excited about any of the choices
Three very small states that are likely to go for Obama in a general election anyway

If someone wins rhode island and Montana that isnt a 'game changer' either

This game is not over till the fat lady sings and something tells me Obama has the fat lady in his corner. So another 4 years of spending and wasting money and driving us into a deeper hole.

since you republicans can't find anybody but clowns to run, that's pretty much entirely your fault.

there is nobody to blame but yourselves.

that the candidates are a reflection of their base is downright disturbing.

it's like their political party has been so poisoned by hate, pride in ignorance and medieval religious kookery that all they can create to lead them are monsters.

2MuchMark 02-08-2012 09:46 AM

From my point of view, the entire republican contest is a joke, but the joke is wearing thin. The thought of any one of these bozos getting into office scares most Canadians.

Go listen to some Obama interviews, based on them, he would not vote for himself. Problem is, there is no one running that can beat him.

"Ron Paul, who has improved his national acceptability considerably in the past month, is behind Obama just by three points. Paul received 46 percent while Obama received 49 percent of votes from the registered voters." here it is....

Santorum sounds too much like Sanitarium aka looney bin. Subconciously a bad name. Altho in his case it fits.

I think it will be very interesting to watch the electoral college at work this time around.
We might be surprised by the outcome.
Just sayin...

It's actually derived from the Latin word Sanctus meaning Saint. Used for a person connected to someone acting as a saint, or who has connection with religious things (a sacristan), so it makes sense that he acts like he does. His family has been involved with the Roman catholic church for hundreds of years. His ancestors probably spearheaded the inquisition.

Paul Markham 02-14-2012 01:09 AM

Obama 4 more years.
