Hey Mac users
I'm a PC guy, don't even know how to shut down a mac. I have a new staffer with a mac book and I need to setup her emails on it. We use outlook for our pc's, but is there a different/better option for MAC?

Just use Mail. Though some people like Thunderbird. try it

The built in mail client integrates with Exchange without an issue.

For mail client use Mail. It's in Applications.
To shutdown the Mac, click on the apple at top left and select Shut down. Donno if it answered your problem. |

I used thunderbird at first but I switched to Mac's on Macmail. It works very well and is easy to use, and it has many more features. Besides being easy to organize, mail can be synced to your iPhone or other i/os devices wirelessly even if they are not on the same network. Very smart.

I believe Entourage is MS's answer to Outlook for Mac.

Used to love my PC, but now have a Macbook. As they say, once you have a Mac you won't go back!
I use hotmail email set up which is working fine. |
Migrate to Google Apps for Business or Just Google Apps for Domains if you have 10 of less users.

The new office 2011 for mac has outlook for mac.. and it works very very well with exchange.
