CCBill Logins

just curious what percentage of sponsors offer "User" generated logins vs. "CCBill" generated logins.

i'm currently using Proxypass and i get a lot of sharing blocks. a good percentage of them are being cracked. a few years ago i switched to CCBill generated logins and that helped with the cracks but many members couldn't remember their logins so i got a lot of burst attack blocks.

i recently increased the username and password character requirement to 8 min and 12 max so hopefully that will help.

We don't like either, so we made a better system. We generate user names and passwords that can be typed more easily than random chapters and can be remembered, but aren't dictionary words so they won't be guessed.

For examples, our system might generate "marligster" or "nebista", which can be pronounced and thefore can be remembered.

What is the point? They get in anyway if they want to and steal you shit regardless. And if they really want to steal it they will just use a legit account. Really who cares anymore if someone cracks a login? It simply doesn't matter anymore. Just use an ip block to not allow multiple logins on the same account so at least the account can't be shared. Even so there are ways around it.

i currently use an IP block through Proxypass. you have to allow several IP's for home, office, hotel ect...

if there's no point then why not leave it wide open? right? despite what most people think these days, there is money in porn and content is worth protecting.

the point is, paying members get upset when they are blocked if their logins are cracked. this thread is about a choice of login generation to minimize that.

CCBill's generated logins decreases definately the cracked login codes. It is much harder for any software to crack H5tDgj89:8Uuj76lLs than hugetits:iambob3 :2 cents:
