pornmasta 03-04-2012 10:38 AM

white people send black people to rule the country to claim later that it's not their fault when the system collapses

he used planes to fly to 3-4 cites a day a campaign, be fore that guys used trains and didn't make the impact nationwide like he did. and with JFk it was TV and obama it was the internet...

innovation in media does change things... like 'jack the ripper' he became so notorious due too the Atlantic cable that was just laid allowing his story to go, in essence, world wide...

Obama , for all his faults, the faults of the Empire, is at least sane.

Most educated people look with total disbelief at the mad, off the planet Republican candidates.

We thought I could not get worse than brain dead Reagan and you found Bush, now to out do Bush you will elect people who do not believe in Science.

I don't think anyone has enough balls to stand up to the fed and big business. Once they get into the club they just become little bitches.

Sad thing is that Obamas achievements make him a right wing imperialist ...

so much for the possibilities for change, time to lose those illusions

I'm not sure what people expect a President to do/be.

Month after month, things appear to getting better with the economy. I would like to see the Democrats retake the Senate, and shore up their majority in the House of Representatives, in order to make Obama's final four years as President, as successful as possible. I think the nation and world will be better for it.

The Dow hit 13,000 recently. Big corporations are making record profits. Taxes are lower than under Reagan. The top 1% owns 43% of all financial wealth. We must stop this ?socialism.? LOL.
Lest anyone think otherwise, in the end, I am not satisfied at all with the current state of Washington/US national politics (and in most instances, I think State politics are even worse), and ultimately I view the Republi-Crats as one in the same once you get past all of the hyperbole and staged controversy.

I just offer a differing viewpoint for the sake of debate until the day comes to sweep them both away... :winkwink:

I want anybody that can start getting the budgets under control... don't care what party, what race, what gender...

I hope by budgets you also mean spending. Without spending control in DC it doesn't matter what else happens. Our politicians are like little children that have a credit card and don't know how to control themselves.

Simples, stop the foreign wars and introduce a state national health service, problem solved.

It's easy. Have less police, firemen, road builders and other public sector workers. :Oh crap

Yes Public Spending, and borrowing, is out of control in so many countries. The obvious example is Greece.

I hear Republicans scream they will cut taxes and this will create jobs. Without hearing how. If a Government cut taxes it will lead to them employing less people. Granted, there's a small part that goes straight over seas that can be cut without loss of jobs.

So if a Government cuts taxes, borrows the same or less, inevitably it will mean spending less and less jobs.

Will the Private Sector pick up those job losses?

IMO no. It's in a bosses best interest to cut jobs what ever the taxes are. Employ less to do the same job, out source to places of cheaper production and labor costs. Remember the scandal with iPods being made in Chinese factories?

Employers only take on more employees when they are needed. Giving them a 5% tax reduction doesn't mean they will all work harder. It just means they get more money for the same work.

Yes there is a level where people say it's not worth moving up in the wage scale to lose 75% in taxes. But if an employee wants to make more money. He has more and better options than increasing his home based work force.

So if it's bad news, it's Obama's fault, however if it's good news he's just a figure head? Makes sense.

RRACY 03-05-2012 09:53 AM

We are living in very funny times and Barack Hussein Obama becoming President is the ultimate proof of that.

I think obamans only goal was to be a the first black president with no thought to what the job entails, BTW he does come from one of the country's most corrupt political systems, and went to a 'whitey hating' chruch for over 20 years :2 cents:
