not that I have anything against obama, more like he's a personification of a broken system :2 cents: BTW obama is the firt prez elected off the internet like JFK was the first prez elected off the TV, and hitler was the first prez elected off 'flight' |
white people send black people to rule the country to claim later that it's not their fault when the system collapses

innovation in media does change things... like 'jack the ripper' he became so notorious due too the Atlantic cable that was just laid allowing his story to go, in essence, world wide... |
Obama , for all his faults, the faults of the Empire, is at least sane.
Most educated people look with total disbelief at the mad, off the planet Republican candidates. We thought I could not get worse than brain dead Reagan and you found Bush, now to out do Bush you will elect people who do not believe in Science. |

I don't think anyone has enough balls to stand up to the fed and big business. Once they get into the club they just become little bitches.

Sad thing is that Obamas achievements make him a right wing imperialist ...
so much for the possibilities for change, time to lose those illusions |

Month after month, things appear to getting better with the economy. I would like to see the Democrats retake the Senate, and shore up their majority in the House of Representatives, in order to make Obama's final four years as President, as successful as possible. I think the nation and world will be better for it. Quote:

I want anybody that can start getting the budgets under control... don't care what party, what race, what gender...

Yes Public Spending, and borrowing, is out of control in so many countries. The obvious example is Greece. I hear Republicans scream they will cut taxes and this will create jobs. Without hearing how. If a Government cut taxes it will lead to them employing less people. Granted, there's a small part that goes straight over seas that can be cut without loss of jobs. So if a Government cuts taxes, borrows the same or less, inevitably it will mean spending less and less jobs. Will the Private Sector pick up those job losses? IMO no. It's in a bosses best interest to cut jobs what ever the taxes are. Employ less to do the same job, out source to places of cheaper production and labor costs. Remember the scandal with iPods being made in Chinese factories? Employers only take on more employees when they are needed. Giving them a 5% tax reduction doesn't mean they will all work harder. It just means they get more money for the same work. Yes there is a level where people say it's not worth moving up in the wage scale to lose 75% in taxes. But if an employee wants to make more money. He has more and better options than increasing his home based work force. |
Indeed, good pic!
