ADVICE NEEDED - Building huts, dens and caves with your friends
 

So when you go out to play with your friends what type of things do you like to build?

We once dug a hole/cave into the side of a hill. It was pretty cool but always damp and my mom always raged at me for having such dirty pants.

So we are now building a hut out of old pallets.

What is the best way to make it stable and also how do you camouflage it the best? We want to hide it the best possible way from other gangs.

In an episode of The Red Hand Gang they build a camp in the woods. It was a really good camp.

Maybe you can seek out this episode of The Red Hand Gang and see if it will give you any inspiration.

I cannot remember which one it was as it was about 25 years ago.

It is important that the base is easy to defend, so I hope the camp also has some good clues on that.

straw bales are good for building something substantial with thick walls that can't be kicked down.

My friends and I built a massive treehouse when we were kids. I used to take sticks from the backyard and create mini forts with those too.

You could put camouflage tents around those pallets and then put a distillery in there.

Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure teencat lives in a mud hut so you might want to ask him.

Build it in a Home Depot Parking lot, and surround it with Mexicans... Nobody will ever look at it.

When I was kid we used to play in a gravel pit. This was the type of shit you did in south jersey before Playstation existed.

My friend Steve was there by himself one day, digging a tunnel and it collapsed on him. It was a big thing at school for weeks. It's probably better for his future wife, because he surely would have beat her. Tilt one back for Steve, RIP.
