Affiliate programs that cancel your account without telling you....
Ok, you want to cancel my account, not tell me.... then continue to send me promo content to keep adding to my sites?

What did you do to get cancelled?

I think you seem to be missing the point. First of all I didn't do a damn thing. Maybe send them traffic and make sales since the mid to late 90's? |

Useless without sponsor name.

Had similar issues with Kinkydollars

I've had a ton of smaller sponsors cancel accounts without letting me know for who knows what reason - most of them were small ccbill sponsors. |
You are on their mailing list - Its not the end of the world.

Has happened to me twice in the last year both by big "reputable" programs
|
Easily. E.g. pimproll.com
|
i've only had this problem with nasty dollars and bangbros... happened multiple times with both of them so i quit promoting them...
|
For sure its not the big deal. Just keep checking all time your sponsors.

Its fucking shady. Lets say you spend a shitload of time adding their content ... you login and your account is closed. Now, Ive got to contact someone with the program. If I get a response and If I don't keep getting forwarded to someone else who can fix the situation, I have at least lost sales and traffic numbers for who knows how long? Btw, Ive yet to still hear back from this company, so I will withhold any names unless I don't get a resolve. Not getting a response yet has pissed me off enough to come here and vent. If you run an affiliate program like this. :321GFY:321GFY |

What are you guys doing to get your account nuked? I promote kinky dollars so i would be curious to know? People very rarely name the sponsor then they dont give details. What type of promotion would cause a sponsor to kill your account?

@tony, for me the clue came out of the resulting login url:
&reason=high+chargeback+ratio+2011 tyhe sad thing about it is i hardly and i mean really hardly make anything with them, so i kinda find it hard ot beleive that those few signups i produced over the years all charged back at once. ive sent a message to terry over at kd lets see what comes out fo it. to add to it, friend of mine had the same thing happen twice to him... |
bangbros after my first pps sale

Some sponsors get annoyed when you outrank them for their own terms in Google. Let's say you're 1st and they're 2nd, they think "All those sales would be coming to us without this guy anyway". I've seen this happen a number of times

I'm a bit confused - how do you know they cancelled your account? Can you no longer login, even though you still get the promos in your inbox?
This seems especially worrisome with CCBill programs where programs that close continue to linger in your list of sponsors, and 'logging in' to get your promo material is little more than entering your ID that gets inserted in the appropriate places. |

There really is no need to get technical about it and go off on these crazy theories as to why I got cancelled, or explain other reasons why people get cancelled. Bottom line. If your going to cancel my account, send me a fucking email and let me know. If you can take the time to send me dead fucking link codes every other day, you could have taken the time to send me a fucking email telling me you were cancelling my account. How in the fuck does this happen anyway? BTW, it is very interesting to see Nats step into this thread because the company in question uses Nats. A question for you Nats..... How does an account get cancelled and that now ex-affiliate still get emails with dead linking codes sent to him on a regular basis? Is that something built into the system? Or? Please explain. |

If your question is whether or not it's by design or something we encourage to mail link codes & promo tools to banned affiliate accounts, then the answer is no. |

Here are the facts.... I've been an affiliate of a company for probably 15 years, that is now using your software. I have taken a serious amount of time to add their promo content to my sites. NO rules were broken, and I've done NOTHING shady. Blog posts, TGP and MGP galleries, and 100% legal tube videos that they provided. After all the hard work and effort, I go to log in and my account doesn't exist. Yet I am still getting emails with linking codes. Do I think you encourage people to be shady? No. I never asked that and wouldn't bother asking you such a question. But they are using nats, my account is dead, and Im still getting emails with my so called link codes to their promo content. |

They probably shut your account off from access. This just means your data is still in there system. Its not rocket science. Im sure they didnt delete your info. How else would they send you spam in the future. |
wow i wonder who it could be ... :(

Why do you think your explanation should make a difference to me? By the way, It's not rocket science to assume that was a possibility already. Don't expect any smart guy awards in the mail. Smart ass... maybe. |

Are either of you catching on yet? |
Well whatever the case, I hope it works out for you.

Most likely someone was cleaning out dead affiliates who haven't sent a join in a year or so. |
We all know it's lame to disable active accounts without notifying the affiliates. But if it's NastyDollars or BangBros this sort of stuff has been going on with them as early as 2007 if you search the boards. If affiliates would do their due dilligence these sponsors would have had a hard time growing to the size they are.
