BTW: Consider Skype instead. I like it alot better than ICQ. Or if you must use ICQ, use Adium as a client instead of the ICQ client. Nicer, faster, lighter, and it lets you combine your MSN and other channels so you don't need to run multiple clients to chat with your contacts.

Not cool! I used ICQ and Skype because it seems like not everyone with one has the other, but if I had my druthers, I'd keep it all on Skype.

I got the same messages from that same guy. Had to tell him to please take me off his spam list.

I got the same message but mine was considerably less annoying than what some are saying here. I got one message, ignored it and that was the end.

Also I use an ICQ Client called QIP (qip.ru) that has an anti-spam message that makes a sender answer a question (you can make your own) before the message is sent through to the user. Pretty sweet actually. Been using it for about 6 years now
