WTF - I seem to have a new cat....

I was in the garden having a fag and this strange cat came over and did the usual rubbing himself against my leg thing - So I gave him a scratch behind the ears.

Now he is asleep on my sofa and seems to have moved in.

I suppose it might fix the mouse problem.

"having a fag" (snicker)

You should teach the feline to be housebroken and have it spayed. You don't do that, you can expect throw pillows destroyed. And the living room smelling of piss and shit!

That's usually how I end up with cats too. Is it a dude or female? If it's a dude, get him fixed before he does something that's going to make you want to toss him into a moving ceiling fan.

He is a dude - I will give it a day or 2 to see if he going to stay and then I am affraid he will be down the vets.

I love cats, I am sure they can tell the moment they see me....

We don't get stray animals in my neighborhood. The coyotes come out and take care of them.

Cats are loyal only to the person putting food in front of them. Hopefully you haven't got a distraught 5 year old 3 streets away crying themselves to sleep because Fluffy is missing.

Indeed. I found a cat a couple of years ago, and after a day of her not going, I took a pic and put up photos around the neighbourhood with my number on. About a week later got a call from a lady crying. Her cat had fallen out of a first floor window about 2 weeks ago and she thought it was dead. She was just so so so so relieved.

Eddy, put some ads up man.

I have to admit I had not thought of that - If he stays then I will do what I can to make sure nobody is missing him.

I was going to say that the cat has found itself a new human. But good move to put up a flyer around town first.

Your neighbourhood needs some bigger dogs living in it.
