You let other people see your email and your biggest concern is that they might see a paxum payment for a grand or two? Don't show your email to other people, pretty simple :upsidedow

u-Bob 04-02-2012 05:32 AM

No one but me gets to see my emails. Not even my g/f.

lucas131 04-02-2012 05:45 AM

so it is ok to put your earnings on screen? you never had to access you email and friends was around? you never access your email in internet cafe? you never know who may watch one day and why to have there emails with earnings on screen, even if it is from one single company, and even if they removed it after decission in the past already? not clever, simple, stupid ... :2 cents:

lucas131 04-02-2012 05:47 AM

no big bank, no small bank, no paypal or similar money transactions systems are doing it, just paxum ... amateurish like dont ask me what ... :Oh crap

I use a different address for every service I use. Emails get filtered into a separate folder.

CyberHustler 04-02-2012 05:49 AM

You just posted the amount on a public forum though... kinda worse than paxum sending it to your private email as far as privacy goes right?

brentbacardi 04-02-2012 05:52 AM

Yeah I don't see the issue. Don't let other people in your email... Tada! Problem solved!

u-Bob 04-02-2012 05:53 AM

Add a "Paxum" folder to your email program (or in this case whatever webbased email provider you are using). Set up a filter to automatically move all emails from *@paxum.com into that folder instead of your main inbox.

</workaround>

lucas131 04-02-2012 06:07 AM

sure the amount was not right ... and sure i can make folders and adjust mine settings and so, but still it is ill, everyone with brain in his head must see this is simply stupid ... :2 cents: want to hear from them why they added that, what is the super advantage or what excelent thing they have discovered and sure everyone else will start doing that ... :1orglaugh:Oh crap

lucas131 04-02-2012 06:34 AM

bloggerz 04-02-2012 06:36 AM

lucas131 04-02-2012 06:36 AM

Horny Joe 04-02-2012 06:50 AM

Paxum can send me "paxum: somebody just sent you 1226.40" emails as much as they like.....

Hi lucas,

On Friday we implemented a new update that included numerous new features. As far as I know there is no way to remove the $ amount from the email subject line, however you can always select which notifications you do and don't receive by visiting the My Account>>>Profile Settings>>>Notifications section of your account.

If you would rather not receive email notifications of received payments, then you can easily switch them off there.

Since this is a new update I will double check with our tech crew to see if there are any alternative options available.

Perhaps you will appreciate some of our other new features more than this one....

How do you find our affiliate program? Did you enroll yet?

Have you tried to transfer money to another Paxum client yet? Check out the Beneficiary List and add people you frequently/regularly send money to, to your list, and save time in the future.

Do you use our API? We've made it even more comprehensive!

You can view more information about this update by visiting the Announcements section of your Paxum account.

Thanks for your feedback lucas, I'll let you know what I discover :thumbsup

thank you ruth, i understand that you at paxum are working hard, but some upgrades are not something that is necessary, like this one :) i know someone like to see any money received, it looks pimp, and i know someone is receiving one two payments per month, but if you have few paxum emails on page and you still see the amounts on the screen, it is really not something i like, but maybe its just me :) but if there is a possibility to add feature where i can remove the amount from email subject, that will be pimp! :thumbsup keep up the good work and have a nice day everyone! :)

brentbacardi 04-02-2012 09:29 AM

Well I actually think its better when it does show when you have many transactions coming in. I owned a site where sometimes I would get $20 and other times $3k as a payment, usually like 10 a day. So I liked to be able to just read the subjects as they came up in my mobile email. Was very useful so I didn't need to open it up or anything.

AdultEUhost 04-02-2012 09:31 AM

which sponsor is that, somebody?

Yes, we actually received multiple client requests to have this feature enabled to help clients streamline the time needed to monitor their incoming payments. Though this feature may not appeal to everyone, we believe displaying the transferred amount in the subject line is more convenient for most clients, and can help save our clients time.

@AdultEUHost - We actually just added a new feature to allow Business clients to change the DBA of their name when they send payments to their customers. Personal clients can also select which verified email will display for outgoing transfers. :thumbsup

lucas131 04-02-2012 09:56 AM

hope nats will add this too, so i will have email filled with money :) :upsidedow

CaptainHowdy 04-02-2012 10:55 AM

Guess you're not officially an adult webmaster until you start whining about petty matters ...

lucas131 04-02-2012 11:20 AM

i have been not whining, i have been just thinking they have forget to switch the april fool off, but now i see its official so what to do, folder solved it already, now everyone enjoy the dollars in your emails :)

MrDeiz 04-02-2012 11:56 AM

lucas131 04-02-2012 01:23 PM

paxum.com: *** has just sent you money

wow thank you alot! :thumbsup

V_RocKs 04-02-2012 02:59 PM

I prefer the amount in the subject line... Like someone said before, if I get 10 in a day I can just scan the subject lines and I don't have to open shit up.
