Did a 15 page CSI report on it in college...there was a lot of mistakes made during the investigation. Not to mention the fact that he couldnt reach the trigger of his shotgun, and that the amount of Heroin that was injected wouldnt have even given him enough time to pull the trigger. Not going to turn it into a pissing match but its what I without a doubt believe.

The fact that he tried to kill himself twice before and the last song he wrote was "I hate myself and want to Die" should be a good indication of what happened.

Even with everyones different opinion on this... I remember where I was when I heard the news and how it made the people around me feel. One of those things you just never forget. and YES makes me feel older then before I saw this thread, LOL

Around 93-97 I was mostly listening to Rammstein, Rage Against the Machine, Sugar Ray(their old albums), and then, there was the rise of nu-metal.

Nowadays I mostly listen to anything, from Classical to funk and experimental stuff, going into a little of bluegrass and electronic. Nirvana is an exception. It's one of those bands you love to hate.

I was out with my father doing some business rounds in the area when they announced it over the radio. He turned around without me saying anything and I spent about the next month in my room.

Every time after that when the line "i swear that i don't have a gun" came on, he'd say "fucking liar" under his breath.

Not to mention immediately before he was hospitalized several times for almost dying from crazy amounts of heroin in europe. I think it was Rome, but I could be mistaken.

in 94 I was 10-11. Did listened to his albums a couple of years later and could never understand what the fuss was all about. I missed the whole boat. Luckily, it was a ride I feel good about missing. Nu-Metal and Angry Germans helped me get over the instability of teenhood and the need for social identity. :1orglaugh

In all my life I only met one Nirvana fan who was mentally stable. The others were most of the time washing windshield in downtown Montreal, or stuck in a 1994 time bubble. I actually had a very long and great conversation with him, because as much as I hate the band, I know most of the facts.
