lots of keywords, convert it to pure html so it gets spidered properly

lots of work but it'll pay off

invest $3K for a good designer this sucks hairy ass and you know
it. Using this will cost you X times more than saving some money
to have a designer make you something that WILL convert.

don't like the logo's font. some of the colors could be better. Tighten up the layout length. background color is weak looking.

seo will be the next step once the layout is done!

how have you found the video clip on the join page to work?

does it convert better or distract?

I would worry about any errors losing sales.

Havent tried it yet but i am hoping that with the teaser they will buy a membership to check out everything else and once they do that they will convert.

Did you come across errors? if you did could you please explain what errors you encountered.

Woohoo another chance to bash NotJoe :winkwink:

But really though...

Maybe it's just me, but at first glance the color scheme is INTOLERABLE. I think its mostly the header color for the tables though. It feels like theres one too many colors on the page.

Inside the tables it could look a little cleaner & I think you would do a lot better by showing 3-4 frame grabs in each box underneath cover/description. Frame grabs are very enticing for the surfer :thumbsup

Good domain & nice big logo =]

If I was a surfer I would not go to deep into the site, the reason your box covers are so small I would lose intrest very quick. I know you have to worry about load time but the box cover must be bigger. :2 cents:

Another thing to consider is content serving connections.. ie you could setup a cogent only box somewhere to serve those videos previews (at ~$30-40/mbit) while keeping the main site on a "premium" connection (if you truely believe there are problems with cogent).

But if the previews load slow, since they're hosted on my url the users might thing the rest of the site is like that.

Rotton: Thanks for the tip, i've made the box covers a little bigger. Are they too big now?

Joe - see the part above where I said "...if you truely believe there are problems with cogent..."

Personally I would host the whole damn thing on cogent :)

What I said is actually a good suggestion... maybe you could put a little "Video Not loading? Click here dot cgi" to compare loading related "problems" to see how much you are saving/losing by using a cogent connection for content serving.

You could actually conduct a lot of stats on that right there.

ie # of people to visit the join page (on the main server) vs # of people who load the video. Compare Premium/Premium loads vs Premium/Cogent loads (where first value is the join page and second is the video clip served).

With tests like that, you could find out for yourself how well they would work for ya. I'm sure someone with a pure cogent connection out there would hook you up at cost for a little testy test.

Just trying to help ya save some money eh.

:thumbsup

ugh noooo... it was cool before in the tables, you just needed to change that table header color or something. Now it looks too unorganized I think.

You should really consider 3-4 small frame grabs on each spot... maybe make them a single image if you want.. but trust me, those frame grabs will get you more clicks to the next page.
