Stealing from the cops
A Kentucky man was cuffed this week after he allegedly siphoned gasoline from a police car and posted a photo of his crime to Facebook.
Coal miner Michael Baker, 20, unapologetically flipped the bird in the photo, which made the rounds on the social-networking site and eventually into the hands of the police department. He was arrested for 'theft by unlawful taking,' but insists it was all just a joke. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/...51_634x475.jpg full article... |

The opposite happened over here.
A TV show wanted to test the honesty of police officers. So they (the producers, researchers etc) all counted how much money was in their wallets. They then each took a wallet that belonged to one of their coworkers to a police station and told the cops that they had found the wallet (in the street, a train station, in a store etc) and filmed everything with a hidden camera. 2 or 3 days later, the owner of the wallet then went to the police station where his wallet had been dropped off and asked if maybe they had found his wallet. Again, filming everything with a hidden camera. Result: 30% of the wallets had mysteriously disappeared. |
Dumb ass.
