What Not To Say In A Job Interview
 

I just watched the latest episode of "Girls" last night. And then this scene happened.

Hannah got a job interview. Trying to be witty and engaging, she was in the middle of having a light moment with her interviewer. When the guy tells Hannah he went to college at Syracuse, she says, "I heard a statistic that Syracuse has the highest incidence of date rape of any university. Which weirdly went way down the year that you graduated...[awkward pause]...That was just a joke because I was saying that there was no more date rape because they figured out who it was that was doing it and it was you."

The interviewer's face here pretty much says it all.

I like that show. Allison Williams is smoking hot.

Heh, yeah never good to joke that the guy you want to hire you is a serial rapist.

I once interviewed this girl, who was SMOKING hotness, and even though I WANTED to hire her.. she had brought 3 kids with her to the interview. No shit. Children running around in my office while I'm trying to interview.. I almost felt like it was some undercover operation to see if a hot chick could be hired even though she was a complete idiot and brought children with her.

Not a huge fan of the show. It was just too slow for me but I do agree, Allison Williams is HOT! She reminds me of a young Jennifer Connelly.

Best interview ever was when I was at Playboy. This guy comes in and I asked him about a two year gap in his employment history. He said "Oh, well, I had a slight misunderstanding with my pregnant girlfriend which resulted in me pushing her out of the car, and I went to prison for two years".

I couldn't get him out of the office quick enough.
