TotemCash earnings

Is anyone selling traffic with TotemCash? What kind of conversion rate can I expect?

mce 08-15-2012 04:04 PM

Bump to help out a biz-related thread that sank like a stone....

jimmycooper 08-15-2012 04:50 PM

$0.08/click using primarily peel ads over the past 12 months which is excellent for the positioning. IE, content->sidebar/footer->peel ad

Relentless 08-15-2012 05:17 PM

They do very nicely. Content that can't really be tubed usually does ;)

Danny B 08-15-2012 06:29 PM

Tnx for the bump and replies guys.
Here's our top affiliate list for your references.

Let me know if there's anything you need, I'm around all the time.

Slap Dot 08-16-2012 01:10 AM

Looking into them as well. Any more reviews?

Denny 08-16-2012 04:53 AM

They don't convert for me :( (babe/softcore traffic).

Zeiss 08-16-2012 05:05 AM

No conversion here. Looks like people are more like looking for the real deal, not desktop strippers. Come on! I even wonder how come this sells after all...

It did probably sell well enough 10 years ago but not today.

Agreed. Today it is very hard. I am glad there is mobile billing, else I am dead or back to work. :D Not to mention most of my traffic is actually from people willing to buy something, this thing (totemcash) never converted for me.

it definitely did pretty good years ago. i guess its a tough sale now with all the content tubes provide at no charge, rather then banking off them.

things changed for the worse, that's for sure. tube sites are like obama - they run shit, but they run it straight into the ground.

Paul&John 08-16-2012 06:48 AM

making a few sales here and there but was a little better before that

Zeiss 08-16-2012 07:55 AM

But have you checked their top converting countries? Hungary? Seriously? Give me a break...

geekyfox 08-16-2012 07:58 AM

I suppose it's the home country of an affiliate partner? Why not, if 80% of the subscribers still come from US?
At the same time, the figure is incredibly high.

Zeiss 08-16-2012 07:59 AM

Hm.. I thought these are countries, from which sales come from, not home countries of affiliates, whatsoever...

Denny 08-16-2012 09:12 AM

Sure, those are countries their TOP webmasters are from.

Danny B 08-16-2012 09:27 AM

We did well 10 years ago and still do well today.
We launched deskbabes a while back to cater to surfers that look for a little more action and it has been working out very nicely.

We're still a one of a kind unique product that will always intrigue the surfer.
And unlike many other programs out there, we update and tweak around the clock and rebill very well.

As for the tubes, they're not hurting our and your sales what so ever.
It's a completely different product, and it can't be pirated, so it's not on the tubes.
Just the videos we provide of the shoots and our banners ;)

And indeed the top 100 list shows the countries the affiliates are from, not where the traffic is from.

Hit me up if you have any questions, look to improve your conversions or look into giving us a shot.

Cheers guys!

OK. I thought these are the best converting countries, as I said

@Dan Maybe when I launch few more sites, I will start sending traffic to you again. Can't sell with the traffic I have now. :(

Pryda 08-16-2012 01:27 PM

What's the deal with these affiliates converting at 1:5 or less? There is even a guy at 1:1. And another one at 1:0!?

Surely no traffic converts that good. My guess is that they're doing something shady, like stealing traffic through PPV.

More likely it's members area traffic or somehow targeting former customers to come back again (but that's just a theory). One of the interesting things with VG is its an install, so you get paid for the sales but can see the installs in the stats as well. An install today can send sales now or in the future much like a webcam client can, and since they add new models etc its not like a paysite where the total $ per client has a fixed ceiling. In other words, 10 really good clients are worth a lot more than 15 one time buyers on site like these. :2 cents:

To be earnest, I don't even understand what these numbers mean. Is it a ratio between number of sales to number of free software installs? Then so far I have 0:3 ;-)

crizatu 11-21-2012 01:41 AM

In the last 6 month I had a conversion rate of 1/76 with them, on a soft-core website.
