Tell you the truth, we resell, as do a lot of hosting companies. Getting ICANN accredited, is a super pain in the ass. HOWEVER our provider doesn't have an issue with adult centered domains.

Anyone mind telling me the pros and cons of a reseller?

1. I see no talk of WHOIS Protection...Is this done auto?

2. Will you take Paxum either now or in the future?

If your provider is ICANN accreditated then they will not allow privacy policy on domains.

Do you offer privacy DURING transfer stage or will the domain get in open and acquire a history of ownership ?

Good question.

Any answer?

icann does permit for proxy whois, as long as the information that is send to the proxy is forward to the domain owner in the end. The proxy is really there to filter out the penis enlargement spam one could get from a whois crawler.

Seeing how GoDaddy is ICANN accredited, and so is network solutions and they both offer domain whois proxy services.

Remember that WHOIS "privacy" is only a weak first line of defence, and is not intended to hide the true owner. Some registrars will hand out the information without question if someone emails abuse@ with a complaint.

Having said that, I agree that it does suck when a transfer exposes that information long enough for an archiving service to pick it up.
