Why don't sponsors use the BYOT concept that ARS had?
 

Since we're back in 2004 and 80% of you probably weren't here.... ARS had a program where affiliates could submit custom tours designed by themselves. Other affiliates then browsed the custom designs and used those if they didn't like the default one. The tour designer would receive $5 for each sale other affiliates made using their design.

I've always wondered why we didn't see more of this. Anyone know?

Seems like in this day of terrible ratios, having a bunch of alternative tours could help. A lot of these would be created by people who aren't full time designers and thus may bring new ideas to the table.

ARS was converting like crazy

I remember ARS - NATS has a BYOA module which virtually NO NATS program is using.

Doesn't pimproll has that? They have a BYOT section, but I don't now if it's active.
