I've never seen a domain auction where there weren't at least some that were way off - that's just the way domains work - not everyone is going to like every domain and see the value of them the same way.

Exactly, Some are Motivated to sell, some do not care if it sells or not, and will wait for the big fish.

I had a domain that I would of sold for $500 or less, but I said make me an offer, they offered $6K. Glad I didn't tell them what I thought it was worth!

Disclaimer: I used it for adult for years, guess it was also the name of a mainstream band or something!
