Which is most effective for you, thanks for the feedback.

Grapesoda 09-02-2012 03:23 PM

Paul&John 09-02-2012 03:25 PM

BAKO 09-02-2012 03:27 PM

I tried working from home for few years. Now I work in the office and I can say its much more productive.

Lace 09-02-2012 03:28 PM

My main home office. I have another office/study room upstairs for the wife, but it never gets used.

Effective? No. My daughter is up my butt constantly. :1orglaugh

candyflip 09-02-2012 04:35 PM

I've done both. Had an office and went back to working at home.

I'm in the process of trying to find a nice studio space at the moment. What I want to do now can't really be done from home.

seXXXhub 09-02-2012 04:52 PM

home ...

Rochard 09-02-2012 04:57 PM

I work from home.

With that said, I pretty much have a full office. The only way you know it's at home is the carpeting.

I work from it 4-5 days a week.

That you do. I need to email you this week. I am going to do it as late as possible just to see if you're still on the ball.

oscer 09-02-2012 07:18 PM

home ,office and data center Keeps my ADHD in check

ggrrssyydik 09-02-2012 07:24 PM

Code from home, Shoot on the road in the ambulance. I do have an office but I only go there to pick up the ambulance.

Jay - SMASH 09-02-2012 08:09 PM

Starbucks with my macbook air and my girlfriends skinny jeans! That pressure on the balls squeezes out the last bits of productivity ;)

martinsc 09-02-2012 09:05 PM

both... it's difficult to work at home with three little kids and a wife running around....:2 cents::2 cents:

madko 09-02-2012 10:34 PM

i'm working from home, but i belive this is not a very good solution. i was much more productive at office. No garbage to take out, no tv, no wife&kids to bugg you, no guests, just 8 hours of pure work. there are also advantages in working home: no taffic, no fuel cost, no office rent, you are close to wife& kids(they bugg me, but i love them).

Spunky 09-02-2012 11:22 PM

I can't work so I wander the streets :(

CYF 09-02-2012 11:22 PM

home office and sometimes the coffee shop :) There are shared space offices that you can rent a desk in if you need to get away from home. I've seen a thread on GFY about them, and they look interesting for sure.

Paul Markham 09-03-2012 12:13 AM

From the garden.

Nice concept, but your tour page is fucked up in firefox (right-oriented, not centered like the other pages) and you should use thumbnail images, not the big ones resized in html (page load time's very long) :thumbsup

Matyko 09-03-2012 02:43 AM

I was working from home for years. kids are growing and it was just obvious to move my biz to an office. now most of the work is done by my guys, i work from the office and try not to work from home at all, but it is impossible because of the time zone difference between EU/US... Anyway, I barely work anything from home nowadays, and LOVE THIS! :) :pimp

Markul 09-03-2012 02:54 AM

Office is much more effective, no virtual office or work method bets sitting across each other in the office.

But I work weekdays 9 am -6 pm (ish) at the office, then continue when I get back home (when the kids are fed and put to bed that is).

So I guess both is the answer for me :)

Not all that good, but you DO get your own private cubicle (With a lock on the door) to work from, for free :)

Umbalabob 09-03-2012 03:21 AM

Working from home and this is much better for me. Coworkers are always taking my mind of from the job :-)

Fiddler 09-03-2012 04:36 AM

Work in the office along with plenty of others.

savy 09-03-2012 04:41 AM

Home! It's easier to bang you head against the walls after a pretty long period of working there, with no one around (unless I count the cats). When people ask me what I do for a living I say I'm a housewife and yes, those loud porn sounds come from my apartment.

John-ACWM 09-03-2012 06:33 AM

Home. Office in project.

Trixie 09-03-2012 03:04 PM

Our home IS our office. Plus we have voyeur cams all over it.

And now I have a detached cabin/ADU for mine so almost no distractions. I love walking a few steps outside in my pajamas to get to work.

Working at home is a lot easier with NO KIDS and a wife who is your biz partner.

Thanks, I am working on a new tour page, just dragging my feet on getting around to finishing it.

I worked from home for awhile, but it was not productive for me...wife and kid being around was a bit distracting even though my home office was in a totally separate area of the house.

I finally ended up renting an office a couple of miles away, so I had place to each day for work. Plus, it felt good to get up and get dressed to go to the office each day.

I think working from home is not as good as it sounds...at least not for me.

Tom_PM 09-04-2012 07:42 AM

As a single person there is no way I'm going to pay for some other building space+gasoline when there's a perfectly usable spare bedroom at home.

pornguy 09-04-2012 08:07 AM

Home. 7am to 5pm. Some on Sat and some on Sun.

Sophie Delancey 09-04-2012 08:19 AM

Having a great dedicated home office space is a really good way to have a zone without spending unnecessary commuting time.

+1, even if you're not single I would still not pay for something i can do at home...

Lykos 09-04-2012 08:47 AM
