chaturbate whitelable

This should be straight forward but cant get it to work. Im not sure what this means.

Point yoursubdomain.yourdomain.com with "yoursubdomain IN CNAME chaturbate.com." Point your top-level domain yourdomain.com by changing your zone apex record to "@ IN A 64.38.221.140".

do i need to create a
subdomain.yourdomain.com

right now its set at
HOST NAME IP ADDRESS/ URL RECORD TYPE
@ 64.38.221.140 a
w noads.chaturbate.com. cname

Ive tried other things but they dont work. Im completely new to this.

I want mydomain.com to show a white lable like noads.chaturbate.com And to stay showing mydomain.com

Sly 09-05-2012 05:44 PM

Who is your web host? They will most likely do this for you. You need to make changes in your DNS record. Do not simply create a subdomain, it will not mask properly.

VenusBlogger 09-05-2012 05:49 PM

why do you want a white-label?

It won't make you convert better... just send your traffic directly to the sponsor.

I don't know why most webmasters think that with whitelabel you can magically bring your 1:10,000 ratio to 1:1000... or any other numbers...

they went through it with me and said to wait 24 hours for it to show. Maybe i didnt wait long enough. They said it looked to be set up correctly. My domain looked just to be redirecting to chaturbate not white lable. Name cheep is webhost.
I want it set up like this http://www.freesexcams69.com/.

Heres what my host set up
HOST NAME IP ADDRESS/ URL RECORD TYPE MX PREF TTL
@ 64.38.221.140 a adress
www noads.chaturbate.com. cname

Is there anything else i need to do? Is this correct

I'm assuming it works the same way ours does, so you probably need to set it up in their system first, then point your DNS A record to their IP address. If you're in GoDaddy, I think it's under manage domains> DNS manager and there should be a section for IP address. Good Luck, post your site when it's live!:thumbsup

This is what i did for namecheap

1. You need to go to My Account>>Manage Domains>>click on your domain and then choose All Host Records at the left-side menu

2. On the next page please enter www.yourdomain.com into the IP/URL field and set URL Redirect as the record type

3. Then type chaturbate.com into IP/URL field for WWW and set CNAME Record type from the dropdown menu

4. Please set TTL for both entries to 1800

5. Once done, click on Save Changes

There's many reasons why a whitelabel will end up converting better than just sending to affiliate links. Traffic to a white label provides a much greater assurance that all your traffic's cam purchases get accounted for, since its tracked by domain. You'll rack up the bookmarks and repeat traffic to your domain will guarantee tracking. If done right you also have a chance to get search engine traffic from your whitelabel. There's a few more reasons, but ultimately a good cam whitelabel will not only bring in more traffic, but also provide better tracking on your repeat traffic.

The Chaturbate WL with your own domain makes even less sense, due to the Chaturbate branding. Makes more sense to send through their regular links, or even to create a subdomain.chaturbate.com "WL".

Unless you want a subdomain, and it seems you don't, then you don't need that CNAME record. All you need is the A record that you have there, pointing to the Chaturbate IP address.

In your Chaturbate account, did you enter your domain name where it says Domain Alias under your noads.chaturbate.com white label?

I haven't done this myself, BTW, but I assume that's how it works.

Ok I did this. How do i get noads.chaturbate.com or what ever whitelabel that I create to show up on my domain.
It might need some time for dns. But right now my domain is just redirecting to chaturbate.com

That must be the issue. Domain Alias i wasent sure what that was. I'll try it.

What about the transactions (20% revenue share), or do you use free signups?

All your points above are correct, but the one that does not apply to a WL from Chaturbate is that, as it stands, you will not get search engine traffic from it.

They let you set up Meta Description and Meta Keywords, but it is all for nothing.

Every WL set up with Chaturbate will show the text :

"A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt ? learn more"

in Google , instead of the Meta Description you made.

Search "freesexcams69" in Google to see.

Chaturbate's reply is :

"Based on our SEO guys recommendation we're not going to change the robots.txt. We don't intend for people to use these whitelabels for SEO purposes."

I keep reading that, going WTF ?
You see affiliates as working for with you or against you ???

dillfly2000 05-24-2013 04:03 PM

So I'm reviving an old thread for the sake of my whitelable and Google description options, for SEO purposes of course.

Any one from Chaturbate care to help out?

My domain is: big-tits-on-cam.com

I can promote just fine, but would love to rank in the serps without having someone type my exact domain name. Keywords/phrases in the desc would be nice.

If not, I understand. :party-smi

I just put up a chaturbate white label and now that I've seen "A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt ? learn more" when searching for my site in Google, I'm taking it down.

They obviously think we're stupid. Unbelievable lol

PornDiscounts-V 11-21-2013 07:38 AM

What makes sense is creating a pseudo-whitelabel where it looks like one, but it is hosted completely by you and nofollow's the links to them.
